Pese a que el sol no se hizo presente ese día, las experiencias en estos icónicos y emblemáticos monumentos, siempre son muy positivos. Por diferentes motivos nos dijeron que no era conveniente que concurriéramos ese día, pero desoyendo las opiniones fuimos igual y realmente fue una experiencia inolvidable. En este primer día, concurrimos a una rueda gigante que nos recomendaron y pese a que no nos gustan mucho las alturas, en cierta forma lo disfrutamos. Luego si, nos dispusimos a subir la montaña para conocer al famoso Cristo Redentor de Brasil.

Even though the sun didn't shine that day, the experiences at these iconic and emblematic monuments are always very positive. For various reasons, we were told it wasn't advisable to go that day, but ignoring the advice, we went anyway, and it truly was an unforgettable experience. On this first day, we went on a Ferris wheel that had been recommended to us, and although we don't particularly like heights, we enjoyed it to some extent. Then, we set off to climb the mountain to see the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Brazil.

      Tanta gente en el lugar se hacía imposible obtener una buena captura, pero gracias a las ediciones, pudimos lograr algo bastante loable. Más allá de las capturas que uno puede obtener, creo que lo más importante es lo que se guarda en la retina y en la memoria de estas vivencias. Clima denso, con mucha humedad, pero nada detenía nuestro caminar hacia el lugar.

There were so many people there that it was impossible to get a good shot, but thanks to editing, we managed to achieve something quite commendable. Beyond the photos one can take, I think the most important thing is what is stored in the mind's eye and in the memory of these experiences. The weather was dense and humid, but nothing stopped us from making our way there.

Through this video, I want to share our experience from the first day of our stay in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We haven't reached our destination yet, but everything indicated that we would have some surprises along the way. In future posts, I'll be sharing those experiences with you.
