I'll do it tomorrow! Tomorrow… tomorrow… Thoughts on the Çıralı beach #TheLongestTrip

Our life is a constant choice... There are small choices every day: where to go, how to spend our time. We all know: time is our greatest value in life. And often we don't attach much importance to it - how we spend our time every day. It seems to us that there will be a lot of time ahead... We will have time to do everything... Tomorrow... Tomorrow... Tomorrow....

This happens in youth. But after 40, we acutely understand that time flies faster than we thought. And often the changes that have occurred in our lives are irreversible. In such a case, people sometimes begin to blame themselves: if I had done something wrong, everything would have been different... If I had taken a different path, maybe I would be a rich and respected person now... But is it right to blame ourselves for lost time, for lost opportunities? Recently, we have all found ourselves in a very difficult situation, when life squeezes us like a vice. We need to move faster, think faster, choose only the most important things, work more optimally. And we, the more mature generation, watching the lives of our children, want to help them, often feel our powerlessness... But one thing I know for sure: they need my words: you are very talented, you are amazing, your dreams are beautiful, you can do it, I believe in you...

This year my daughters took their first steps on the labor market in Turkey, during the tourist season, and felt how difficult this struggle for survival is...
The work lasted a month before the trip to Ukraine. And the last few weeks before the trip we stopped these attempts, which brought us only a few hundred $ of income... And we allowed ourselves to rest and relax a little. I rented a car for a few days, and we visited one beautiful place that I ignored last summer, when I was actively traveling all over Turkey from Kemer to Trabzon. But now I needed just such a quiet place. This is a quiet, cozy beach in Cirali, which is very different from the beaches of Kemer, where active tourist life is now raging.

For comparison: The Kemer coast is divided into small beaches that belong to hotels that are right by the sea. And all day long there is music and active tourist life. In Cirali, on the contrary, peace and quiet reign on the beach. There is a pine forest near the beach, and here in the evening the sounds of locusts are constantly heard. Beautiful views of the mountains, where there are ruins of the ancient city of Olympus. The beach stretches for a long distance, and there are only straw umbrellas and sun loungers for those who want a more civilized vacation. But I like to lie directly on the pebbles by the sea. Listen to the sound of the waves, and the music does not bother me...

Here, in this paradise corner of Turkey, we spent a few days before leaving, reflecting on our lives.

So, surrounded by the Antalya mountains and in the presence of the spirit of the ancient city of Olympus, we spent a few days enjoying the Mediterranean Sea in Cirali. Here, relaxation is great for people who love solitude and peace, but at the same time civilization and high-quality comfortable housing. Because in Cirali you can rent a hotel that meets all standards and also have dinner in one of the restaurants that are a five-minute walk from the sea! And also enjoy Turkish hospitality: tea, salads and Turkish bread are a gift if you order one dish of meat or fish.

After the war began, when Russia attacked Ukraine on February 24, 2022, we have been traveling for 4 years. We have visited more than 12 countries, more than 70 cities and villages in different countries... Our #TheLongestTrip continues. And now we plan to visit our hometown Lviv, and this visit will be as if I had arrived in a beautiful new European city on my long journey. I wonder what emotions I will feel walking through the native streets of this ancient city, which is worthy of being called the pearl of Europe! Now that I have seen so many different cities... I am overcome with mixed feelings. As if my past and present should meet there...
