Besides its beautiful historical, architectural, and artistic sites, Terracina also boasts natural beauty, such as its magnificent sea. Terracina is a popular seaside resort known for its various maritime activities and trade. Its long, beautiful sandy beaches are the ideal vacation spot, especially for families, as there are also several family-friendly hotels and beach resorts at affordable prices. It also has a beautiful five-kilometer seafront promenade, perfect for a peaceful, romantic stroll. I remember liking these beaches very much, perhaps because I've lived in the mountains for years, and seaside resorts particularly fascinate me; I rarely find a coastal resort ugly. The beaches of Terracina are part of the Pontine coast, that is, the coastline surrounding Latina and home to the Circeo National Park, as well as other seaside towns such as Sabaudia and Gaeta. I was lucky enough to also visit Sabaudia, which is truly beautiful and fascinating.

Recuerdo que me gustaban mucho estas playas, quizás porque he vivido en la montaña durante años, y los balnearios me fascinan especialmente; rara vez me parecen feos. Las playas de Terracina forman parte de la costa pontina, es decir, el litoral que rodea Latina y alberga el Parque Nacional del Circeo, además de otros pueblos costeros como Sabaudia y Gaeta. Tuve la suerte de visitar también Sabaudia, que es realmente bella y fascinante.

But Terracina, besides being a seaside town, is also a port city, and you can also visit its beautiful harbor. Ports have always held a certain fascination for me. I like the boats bobbing on the docks, the idea of being able to set sail for distant places, and the comings and goings of people that usually happen in ports. The port of Terracina is small, protected by two piers and two docks. It's a port frequented mostly by small fishing boats. Indeed, fishing is very important in Terracina, and it's easy to find cold fish, a true blessing for seaside towns. I, on the other hand, always have to pay dearly for fish, even frozen. Regarding the sea, from Terracina, as from Sabaudia, you can see Mount Circeo and the park below, a beautiful and evocative view. In short, the sea and piers of this city are also beautiful places to visit and enjoy, because the beach and sea are very clean and there are several beaches to choose from. En Terracina, en verano, es fácil encontrar lugares aptos para deportes acuáticos como el kitesurf. Pero Terracina, además de ser un pueblo costero, también es una ciudad portuaria, y se puede visitar su hermoso puerto. Los puertos siempre me han fascinado. Me gustan los barcos meciéndose en los muelles, la idea de poder zarpar hacia lugares lejanos y el ir y venir de gente que suele darse en los puertos. El puerto de Terracina es pequeño, protegido por dos muelles y dos dársenas. Es un puerto frecuentado principalmente por pequeños barcos pesqueros. De hecho, la pesca es muy importante en Terracina, y es fácil encontrar pescado fresco, una verdadera bendición para los pueblos costeros. Yo, en cambio, siempre tengo que pagar caro el pescado, incluso congelado. En cuanto al mar, desde Terracina, al igual que desde Sabaudia, se puede ver el Monte Circeo y el parque que se encuentra a sus pies, una vista hermosa y evocadora. En resumen, el mar y los muelles de esta ciudad también son lugares hermosos para visitar y disfrutar, ya que la playa y el mar están muy limpios y hay varias playas para elegir.
