Road trip to Chiesina Uzzanese and its surroundings, part two , Molinnovo and forrone, the rural areas ( ENG/ESP)

(edited)

Hello blog friends, how are you? Here I am with the second part of my road trip to Chiesina Uzzanese, which I wrote in my last post, which you can find here:

https://hive.blog/hive-163772/@noemilunastorta/road-trip-to-chiesina-uzzanese

I gave you a general overview of this area and its geographical characteristics: surrounded by hills, bordering the marshes, and divided between a large urban area with many businesses and shops, and various more rural and hilly hamlets where nature reigns supreme. Obviously, the type of nature varies depending on whether you're in the more rural, hilly, or marshy areas. Anyway, in the second part of my journey, we crossed the urban area and entered the rural area. The beginning was already very pretty, with many small houses, almost all of them underground, on some very narrow country roads. We also came across a small church. The first hamlet we passed through is called Molinnovo. In ancient times, there was a mill here, from which the hamlet takes its name, and it was very useful to all the inhabitants. I later discovered that the church was a small oratory dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In these areas, there are many churches, niches, and parishes dedicated to the Holy Mother. This is obviously a very small church and not among the main ones. It is the beginning of the rural hamlets, an area less affluent than the residential ones, as can also be seen from the houses, which are not as well-kept as the villas or semi-detached houses in the more affluent areas.

In this area, there are many fields, small houses, and a few power plants. We also passed another hamlet, Forone, which I don't know anything about. Forone, however, is less rural than the previous hamlet. Here, we return to terraced houses and even villas, which are somewhat more ornate and colorful, located in the countryside, but all well-kept and cared for. There was an orange one that particularly struck me; perhaps because the houses in this area are usually pink or brown, and instead, orange stands out more. Continuing our journey, we also found some slightly more isolated houses and farmhouses located near the power plants. This area has few services; it seems to be just houses and countryside. I doubt even a bus or tram passes through here. In any case, it's a lovely area to visit, full of beautiful green fields and charming colorful houses, a quiet place, far from the chaos. I hope to visit other places in this area; I'm particularly intrigued by the ones near the marsh, which I'd really like to visit! See you soon, blogging friends, I hope you enjoyed the virtual tour with me!

What a charming city! I love its streets and the architecture of the buildings; I'm particularly fond of houses with tiled roofs.

Beautiful photographs, dear friend @noemilunastorta.

Have a lovely afternoon.

Ah.. bringing back some memories! I spent 2 months in Italy years ago for college. One of the best times I've had in my life. Spent most of my time in Siena :D beautiful city!

Did a lot of traveling the countryside.. seeing beautiful churches and stuff! I visited a few towns here and there like this, which was interesting.
