Getting to know the training ship, ambassador without borders, part II. | Conociendo el buque escuela, embajador sin fronteras, parte II.

Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos viajeros de todas partes es un placer para mi saludarlos en este miércoles para que sigamos recorriendo el historico Buque Escuela Venezolano, "El embajador sin fronteras".

Warm greetings to all my dear fellow travellers from all over the world. It is my pleasure to greet you on this Wednesday as we continue our tour of the historic Venezuelan training ship, "The Ambassador Without Borders".

Seguimos recorriendo el gran buque escuela de nuestro país Venezuela que permite tanto intercambio cultural y historico de Venezuela donde se han formado inunmerables personas de la armada nacional, justamente este buque escuela fue construido en 1978 en Bilbao España desde ese entonces se ha quedado con nosotros para ser el gran embajador si fronteras, cuyo nombre viene dado por recorrer tantos países sin limites y tantos puertos internacionales, en esta oportunidad vamos a recorrer aquellas partes del buque escuela restante, que faltan entre ellas el palo trinquete y otras más.

We continue our tour of Venezuela's great training ship, which facilitates cultural and historical exchange in Venezuela and has trained countless members of the national navy. This training ship was built in 1978 in Bilbao, Spain, and since then it has remained with us as a great ambassador without borders, named for having visited so many countries and international ports without limits. On this occasion, we are going to tour the remaining parts of the training ship, including the foremast and others.

Justamente luego de poder observar las partes del buque subimos, hacia el área la cubierta de castillo que es la prueba del castillo donde se encuentra el palo bohupress y el palo trinquete, es justamente el que se encuentra casi en el centro, uno de lo mas importante después del palo mayor que suele ser el más alto, cuando ellos fondeas colocan desde el punto el ancla del buque una área de gran relevancia, para el embajador sin fronteras, se encuentran con dos anclas una en estrubor y la otra en babor.

After observing the parts of the ship, we climbed up to the forecastle deck, which is the part of the forecastle where the bowsprit and foremast are located. which is located almost in the centre and is one of the most important masts after the mainmast, which is usually the tallest. When they anchor, they drop the ship's anchor from this point, which is an area of great importance for the ambassador without borders. There are two anchors, one on the starboard side and the other on the port side.

Un detalle del palo trinquete y el palo mayor es que ambos tienen 5 palos cruzados, los cuáles se llaman, vergas la cual cada una tiene sus nombres la primera se llama trinquete, la que sigue verga chobajo, verga choalto, luego sigue juanete y sobrejuanete, unas suelen estar cruzadas, otras no, entre las estructuras que poseen estos palos, esta la cruceta y el penol que suele ser la última verga, que es la parte mas alta, estos suelen estar acompañadas por partes blancas qur reciben el nombre de penoles.

A detail of the foremast and mainmast is that both have five crossbars, which are called yards, each with its own name: the first is called the foremast, the next is the main yard, then the mizzen yard, followed by the topmast and topgallant. Some are usually crossed, others are not. Among the structures that these masts have are the crossbar and the penol, which is usually the last yardarm, which is the highest part. These are usually accompanied by white parts called penoles.

En el barco esta la primera hélice del buque escuela, acompañdo también justamente de su lado derecho el timón, estas son denominadas como la esperanza ambas tienen ese nombre porque fueron las primeras que se usarón para poner en funcionamiento este gran buque, justamente en el centro de toda la hélice podemos ver el emblema del embajador sin fronteras, buque escuela Simón Bolivar me encantó poder ver este punto del barco y dude en tocarlo fue totalmente fascinante.

On the ship is the first propeller of the training vessel, accompanied on its right side by the rudder. both of which are called "La Esperanza" (Hope) because they were the first to be used to put this great ship into operation. Right in the centre of the propeller, we can see the emblem of the ambassador without borders, the training ship Simón Bolívar. I loved being able to see this part of the ship and didn't hesitate to touch it. It was totally fascinating.

El palo mayor suele ser el más alto del barco, debajo de su pequeño cartel de identificación se encuentra una campana que es para tocarla, cuanda visitas el buque puedes tocarla, este buque escuela reune tanta historia y funcionamiento en cada uno de sus espacios es increíble determinar como cada lugar del buque escuela constituye grandes pilares para el funcionamiento adecado de este embajador sin fronteras, cuna de tanta historia y gran belleza sin duda alguna totalmente fantástico.

The main mast is usually the tallest on the ship. Underneath its small identification sign is a bell that can be rung. When you visit the ship, you can ring it. This training ship has so much history and functionality in each of its spaces. It is incredible to see how each part of the training ship constitutes a major pillar for the proper functioning of this ambassador without borders, the cradle of so much history and great beauty. Without a doubt, it is absolutely fantastic.

Por último, finalmente esta el palo de oprez, debajo de este se encuentra, mascarón de proa que es muy representativo para cada uno de la armada y todos los buques posee uno, ella representa la liberación del yugo español, cuando Venezuela se encontraba totalmente amarrada entre sus cadenas por eso podemos ver esta envueltas en cadenas, por eso esta representada en esa liberación, cabe destacar que cada buque escuela lo posee, solo que suelen tener significados totalmente diferentes conforme a la historia del país.

Finally, there is the oprez pole, under which is the figurehead, which is very representative of each of the navy and all ships have one. It represents the liberation from Spanish rule, when Venezuela was completely bound by its chains, which is why we can see it wrapped in chains. It is therefore represented in this liberation. It should be noted that every training ship has one, but they tend to have completely different meanings depending on the history of the country.
