Ariguaya Museum and Park: A stroll through geological stones. | Museo y parque Ariguaya: Un paseo por las piedras geológicas.

Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos de esta comunidad viajera de Worldmappin es un placer para mi saludarlos en este lunes inicio de semana, para mostrarle este lugar hermosa y fantastico.

Warm greetings to all my dear friends in this Worldmappin travel community. It is my pleasure to greet you on this Monday, the start of the week, to show you this beautiful and fantastic place.

Justamente subiendo a la colina del sector valle frío en la ciudad de Maracaibo justamente enfrente dermirador cokibacoa podemos encontrar una linda plaza que esta se llama "La Guariya" donde también esta expuesto al aire libre el museo Geológico donde se encuentran expuestos las principales rocas minerales que se producen en el estado Zulia, además un excelente espacio para recrearse, disfrutar, hacer ejercicio, poder disfrutar del aire libre, es bastante fantástico recientemente fue restaurado ya que anteriormente se encontraba en completo estado de abandono y deterioro pero ahora tiene una vista totalmente diferente, que busca reunir a las personas para que vayan y puedan distraerse.

Just up the hill in the Valle Frío neighbourhood of Maracaibo, directly opposite the Cokibacoa viewpoint, there is a beautiful square called "La Guariya", where you can also find the open-air Geological Museum, which displays the main mineral rocks produced in the state of Zulia. It is also an excellent place to relax, enjoy yourself, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. It is quite fantastic. It was recently restored, as it was previously in a state of complete abandonment and deterioration, but now it has a totally different look, seeking to bring people together so they can go and enjoy themselves.

Todo el piso de la plaza y museo está fabricado en ladrillo, pero posee un contraste único de diversos tipos de colores que adornan el lugar formando un hermoso follaje de colores vivos como el rojo, el amarillo, el azul, el verde y esto tienen forma de semicírculo en todos lados, me parece que la un toque bastante único, diferente y el corido para que no sea totalmente aburrido el espacio, antes cuando lo visite hace algún tiempo esto se encontraba totalmente lleno de maleza que lo cubría, así como también se encientran diversos materos o floreros gigantezcos.

The entire floor of the square and museum is made of brick, but it has a unique contrast of different colours that adorn the place, forming beautiful foliage in vivid colours such as red, yellow, blue and green, which are arranged in a semicircle on all sides. I think it's a rather unique and different touch, and it prevents the space from being totally boring. When I visited some time ago, it was completely covered with weeds, and there were also several giant planters and vases.

Justamente en el centro de todo, el museo posee un mirador en forma de escenario que permite una vista panorámica mucho más amplia al Lago de Maracaibo, ya que desde esta subida de Valle Frío, podemos observar las hermosas aguas de Maracaibo a lo lejos y el contraste único que forma como el sol, así como también poder tener una vista completa de todo el lugar esos numerosas piedras que son los minerales qué constituyen cada una de la exhibición que hace presenta, sin duda alguna al poder montarte desde este lugar sientes que es bastante relajante, lleno de abundante paz porque disfrutas de la brisa agradable mientras ves el Lago como también puedes sentir la fuerza del sol al mismo tiempo.

Right in the centre of it all, the museum has a stage-shaped viewpoint that offers a much wider panoramic view of Lake Maracaibo. From this climb up Valle Frío, we can see the beautiful waters of Maracaibo in the distance and the unique contrast it forms with the sun, as well as having a complete view of the entire place and the numerous stones that are the minerals that make up each of the exhibits on display. Without a doubt, when you stand here, you feel quite relaxed, filled with abundant peace as you enjoy the pleasant breeze while looking out over the lake and feeling the strength of the sun at the same time.

Justamente la primera roca que evidenciamos justamente al lado de las letras lleva por nombre Arenisca Calcárea que esta proviene específicamente de la localidad del Municipio Baralt muy cerca del estado Trujillo, siendo el Mene Grande y también el Venado donde existe una alta producción, ganadera y petrolera, siento esta roca un fruto de la cuenca de nuestro Lago de Maracaibo.

The first rock we see right next to the letters is called calcareous sandstone, which comes specifically from the town of Baralt, very close to the state of Trujillo. Mene Grande and Venado are areas with high livestock and oil production, and this rock is a product of the Maracaibo Lake basin.

Por aquí evidenciamos este Carbón Mineral, el cual es el más grande que he podido evidenciar sus afloraciones se encuentran al Sur del Lago de Maracaibo, como producto de los desechos vegetales pero en el Municipio Mara se encuentra una mina que es productora de este mineral que suele ser tan útil, sin duda alguna nuestra región tiene muchos recursos maravillosos, fue mi parte favorita de este lugar.

Here we can see this mineral coal, which is the largest I have ever seen. Its outcrops are located south of Lake Maracaibo, as a product of plant waste, but in the municipality of Mara there is a mine that produces this mineral, which is usually so useful. Without a doubt, our region has many wonderful resources. It was my favourite part of this place.

Seguimos con esta roca de Arenisca con Fracturas, esta roca proviene de la localidad de Bachaquero y Lagunillas, ellas permiten las distribución como también el paso de los fluidos, por lo que ellas son las responsables de permitir la distribución petróleo, el famoso oro liquido por lo cual es tan famosa mi estado Zulia, por lo que esta roca tiene un papel historico en la producción del petróleo Zuliano.

We continue with this fractured sandstone rock, which comes from the towns of Bachaquero and Lagunillas. These fractures allow for the distribution and passage of fluids, which is why they are responsible for enabling the distribution of oil, the famous liquid gold for which my state of Zulia is so famous. This rock therefore plays a historic role in Zulia's oil production.

También esta la roca caliza la cual se origina como producto de las algas y conchas marinas, estas se forman en la Sierra de Périja, e incluso allá esta su yacimiento de piedra caliza más extensa de Venezuela, pero existe otro municipio que también tiene una alta producción de esta piedra como también lo es Almirante Padilla en donde esta la famosa Isla de Toas, el cual se encuentra rodeado de aguas del mar Caribe y del Lago de Maracaibo, dicen que el Puente General Rafael Urdaneta se encuentra elaborado con esta piedra.

There is also limestone, which originates from algae and seashells. These form in the Sierra de Périja, which is home to Venezuela's largest limestone deposit. However, there is another municipality that also has a high production of this stone, namely Almirante Padilla, where the famous Isla de Toas is located, surrounded by the waters of the Caribbean Sea and Lake Maracaibo. It is said that the General Rafael Urdaneta Bridge is made of this stone.

Por último esta la roca Granito, el cual es es una roca cristalina, tiende hacer una piedra bastante útil para estructuras y construir pisos tiende hacer bastante costoso, debido a que su procesamiento es riguroso pero es una roca que es usada también en otras localidades de Venezuela, este constituye también una de las rocas de este lindo museo Geológico de Maracaibo.

Finally, there is granite, which is a crystalline rock. It tends to be a very useful stone for structures and building floors, but it tends to be quite expensive because it is difficult to process. However, it is a rock that is also used in other parts of Venezuela, and it is also one of the rocks in this beautiful Geological Museum in Maracaibo.

Para finalizar están estas hemosas letras que dicen "Yo amo MCBO", es esta hermosa tierra que nos ha regalado tanto y que diariamente nos ofrece tantos colores hermosos sin duda alguna nos llena de sus maravillas, calor, cultura, tradición y gente.
