Abandoned Egyptian architecture in Maracaibo. | Arquitectura egipcia abandonada en Maracaibo.

Gratos saludos tengan todos mis queridos amigos viajeros de todas partes del mundo en este lindo Sábado, hoy les quiero mostrar esta antigua edificación antigua que se encuentra abandonada.

Warm greetings to all my dear travelling friends from all over the world on this beautiful Saturday. Today I want to show you this old abandoned building.

Justamente iniciando la Avenida Bella Vista podemos encontrar una gran edificación antigua, donde anteriormente sus instalaciones se prestaban para se el antiguo retén de la ciudad de Maracaibo, pero que en la actualidad se encuentra deteriorado por completo, la gran edificación que posee es Egipcia que se asemejan a las pirámides de Egipto, justamente este Retén se fundo hace más de 130 años atrás, es una estructura icónica de gran interés por cumpleto por ser totalmente diferente a las de las épocas y de aquellas edificaciones antiguas de Maracaibo.

Right at the beginning of Bella Vista Avenue, we find a large old building, which previously served as the old checkpoint for the city of Maracaibo, but which is now completely dilapidated. The large building is Egyptian in style, resembling the pyramids of Egypt. This checkpoint was founded more than 130 years ago and is an iconic structure of great interest because it is completely different from those of the era and from the other old buildings in Maracaibo.

Fue construido en 1894, a lo largo del tiempo tuvo diferentes usos puesto que fue inicialmente usado como carce y luego como retén, podemos ver que este esta situada Justamente en frente de la Plaza José Antonio Paez, ubicado en uno de los barridos más consolidados de la ciudad de Maracaibo como lo es Bella Vista, cerca del casco historico de la ciudad, cercano de Veritas, Santa Lucia y la Avenida Padilla, cabe destacar que luego funciono como un museo, en 1958 fue cerrado, los presos fuerón llevados a otro lugar , este se encuentra pintado de color naranja, el color siempte se ha modificado, en la actualidad el espacio se le quiere dar un uso cultural y también brindar atención para los animales.

It was built in 1894 and has had different uses over time, as it was initially used as a prison and then as a checkpoint. We can see that it is located right in front of Plaza José Antonio Paez, in one of the most established neighbourhoods of the city of Maracaibo, Bella Vista, near the historic centre of the city, close to Veritas, Santa Lucia and Avenida Padilla. It is worth noting that it later functioned as a museum. In 1958, it was closed, and the prisoners were taken to another location. It is painted orange, although the colour has been changed. Currently, there are plans to give the space a cultural use and also to provide care for animals.

A pesar de que la pintura se encuentra bastante deteriorada en el espacio, podemos observar en ambos de sus pilares externos dos fareones egipcios qué hacen referencia a este país puesto que la edificación fue plasmado y elaborada entorno a las pirámides egipcias así como también podemos ver sus ventanas netamente altas, estrechas qué se encuentran entrelazadas pintadas de color dorado, así como también estas se encuentran distribuidas en 3 y justamente en el centro, podemos observar el egipcios, recientemente este lugar fue recuperado ya que era solo un vertedero de gatos donde habian sientos de ellos y la gran mayoría terminaban muriendo.

Although the paintwork is quite deteriorated in this space, we can see two Egyptian pharaohs on both of its external pillars, which refer to this country, since the building was designed and constructed around the Egyptian pyramids. We can also see its tall, narrow windows, which are intertwined and painted gold, as well as the fact that they are distributed in three groups, with one in the centre. we can see the Egyptian. Recently, this place was recovered, as it was just a cat dump where there were hundreds of them and the vast majority ended up dying.

El lugar actualmente se encuentra restaurándolo y ahorita es un centro de atención animal, debido a que anteriormente dejaban los gatos aquí y estos morían de enfermedades se decidió por medio de una fundación brindar ayuda a cada uno de los animales, así como atención médica gratuita en todas las áreas próximamente se va a exparecir, charlas preventivas así como también peluquería canina, de hecho al momento de tomar estas fotografías, me percaté que muchas personas se encontraban esperando para que sus mascotas recibieran atención médica veterinaria, su arquitectura interior es mucho mas hermosa puesto que se encuentran cada una de las rejas en hierro.

The place is currently being restored and is now an animal care centre. Previously, cats were left here and died of disease, so a foundation was set up to provide help to each of the animals, as well as free medical care in all areas. Soon there will be preventive talks and dog grooming services. In fact, when I took these photographs, I noticed that many people were waiting for their pets to receive veterinary care. The interior architecture is much more beautiful, as each of the railings is made of iron.

En su edad en su entrada principal podemos observar y que existen 6 bases gigantezcas que estos son los pilares, que sostienen la fachada de esta edificación estos simulan un gran palacio por lo que son totalmente fantásticas así como también en la parte superior podemos encontrar un relieve que este tiene la fecha de fundado 1894, un lugar con altura y arquitectura icónica que merece ser mostrado a cada una de las personas que viven en Maracaibo.

At its age, at its main entrance we can see that there are six giant bases, which are the pillars that support the façade of this building. They resemble a grand palace, which makes them truly fantastic. At the top, we can also find a relief with the date of its founding, 1894. a place with height and iconic architecture that deserves to be shown to everyone who lives in Maracaibo.
