A stroll through Sanare's iconic Plaza Bolívar | Un paseo por la emblemática Plaza Bolívar de Sanare⚔️

Good morning, friends and world travelers! Every adventure or trip comes to an end, which makes me feel a little nostalgic but also happy, so I want to share with you the last place I visited in 2025, Bolívar Square in Sanare.
In the small and beautiful town of Sanare in Lara state, right next to the Santa Ana Church, is Plaza Bolívar, a public space filled not only with large, leafy trees, but also with small shrubs that bring life to each of the planters, some of which are made with natural resources such as river stones. As you walk, you can feel a gentle breeze and hear the leaves of the trees rustling against each other, a very relaxing sound that connects you with nature.
Then there is the statue of Bolívar standing painted black, on a ceramic base or pedestal that reminded me of one I had seen before. He carries a scroll in one hand and a sword in the other, which was clearly metal and not plaster. Unlike other squares honoring the Liberator, the monument is not located in the center of the square, but to one side, a few meters from the church.
The square was built or perhaps remodeled on March 12, 1999, as indicated on one of the plaques placed around the base of the Bolívar statue, in which the mayor expresses that it was part of the beautification and reconstruction not only of this public space, but also as a place where culture and heritage come together so that part of our country's history is not forgotten.
I can imagine that Plaza Bolívar in Sanaré is magical and beautiful at night during the Christmas season, as some of the walkways were decorated with Christmas lights and red and green ribbons, which I really liked.
Before leaving this tourist attraction and saying goodbye to Lara, I saw a mural with the phrase: "Come to Lara," and why not? It is a state with so many beautiful landscapes and places that are part of our history as Venezuelans. We cannot forget our roots, and although I was born in Zulia, I feel as if I were born in every state of my beloved Venezuela.

¡Buenos días, amigos y viajeros del mundo! Cada aventura o viaje llega a su final, lo cuál me hace sentir un poco nostálgica pero a la vez feliz, así que quiero compartirles el último lugar que visité durante el 2025, la plaza Bolívar de Sanare.
En el pequeño y hermoso pueblo de Sanare en el estado Lara, justo al lado de la Iglesia Santa Ana se encuentra su Plaza Bolívar, es un sitio público repleto no solo de grandes y frondosos árboles, sino de pequeños arbustos que le dan vida a cada una de la jardineras, algunas de ellas están hechas con algunos recursos naturales como piedras de río, mientras caminas puedes sentir una suave brisa y escuchar como se tocan las hojas de los árboles unas con otras, ese sonido es muy relajante, que conecta con la naturaleza.
Luego esta la estatua de Bolívar de pie pintada en color negro, sobre una base o pedestal de cerámica que se me hizó similar a una que ya he visto con anterioridad, lleva en una de sus manos un pergamino y en la otra una espada, podía verse que era metálica y no de yeso, a diferencia de otras plazas en honor al Libertador el monumento no se encuentra en el centro de la plaza, sino hacía un costado, a escasos metros de la iglesia.
La Plaza fue construida o quizás remodelada el 12 de Marzo del año 1999, en una de las placas que se encuentran dispuestas alrededor de la base de la estatua de Bolívar, un escrito donde expresa el alcalde que fue parte de su embellecimiento y reconstrucción de no solo este espacio público, sino como lugar donde la cultura y el patrimonio se unen para no olvidar parte de la historia de nuestro país.
Puedo imaginar que la Plaza Bolívar de Sanaré es mágica y hermosa durante la noche, en la época de la Navidad, ya que algunas caminerías estaban adornadss con luces navideñas y cintas en colores rojos y verdes, lo cuál me gusto bastante.
Antes de dejar este sitio de interés turístico y despedirme de Lara, pude ver sobre un mural una frase que decía: "Ven a Lara", y ¿Por qué no? Es un estado con tantos paisajes hermosos y lugares que forman parte de nuestra historia como Venezolanos, no podemos olvidar nuestras raíces y aunque nací en el Zulia, cada estado de mi amada Venezuela lo siento como si hubiera nacido allí.
