Exploring the Pine Forest | Explorando el Bosque de los Pinos 🍃

Hello, travelers from around the world.
I’m thrilled to share with you today the last place we visited in the magical state of Mérida before returning to our beloved home state of Zulia. The truth is, it’s a mix of emotions every time a trip comes to an end on one hand, sadness at saying goodbye to the place, but also great joy knowing it was an unforgettable journey.
The Pine Forest, located in the Parámo Valley of La Culata, is a very popular natural area. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the height of the pine trees and their sheer number there are so many that sunlight barely penetrates the forest.
Before starting our walk through the forest, we had dessert some delicious strawberries and cream, just what we needed to satisfy our sweet tooth but there were also other options like waffles, coffee, hot chocolate, and some sweets and snacks.
Then we set off on the trail that led us directly to a small log bridge built to help us cross and continue exploring the forest; a small river flowed beneath it, likely originating from the highest mountains.
I couldn’t believe my eyes from tiny makeshift homes built by animals to heart-shaped rocks. It’s so wonderful how nature holds such small details that make it so unique.
We arrived at the center of the Pine Forest, and there I was, hugging the trees to connect with their inner energy. There’s nothing that brings more peace and tranquility than this; it’s a caress for the soul. I really love the scent the pines give off, and the air in this forest feels fresh and clean.
We also collected some small pinecones; there were many scattered on the ground that will surely grow into new pine trees in a few years.
I really enjoyed visiting this Pine Forest; it’s always good to connect with nature and all its elements. I felt great being there.

Hola, viajeros de todo el mundo.
Con mucha alegría hoy les compartiré el último lugar que visitamos en el mágico Estado Mérida antes de volver al Estado Zulia nuestro terruño amado y la verdad es que es una mezcla de emociones cada vez que un viaje llega a su fin, por una parte tristeza por despedirnos del sitio, pero también mucha alegría nos deja saber que fue un viaje inolvidable.
El Bosque de los Pinos, se encuentra ubicado en el Valle del Parámo de la Culata, es un espacio natural muy concurrido, al llegar nos sorprendió la altura de los pinos y la cantidad que hay de los mismos, son tantos que escasamente entra la luz del sol al bosque.
Antes de iniciar nuestro recorrido por el bosque, nos comimos un postre, unas deliciosas fresas con crema necesarias para matar el antojo, pero también habían otras opciones como obleas, café, chocolate caliente y algunas chucherías y snacks.
Después iniciamos la ruta que nos llevo directamente a un pequeño puente de troncos de árboles para facilitarnos el paso y así poder seguir explorando el bosque, por debajo corría un pequeño río que seguramente nace desde las montañas más altas.
Me parecía increíble como habían desde pequeños hogares improvisados hechos por animales hasta rocas en forma de corazón es tan maravilloso los pequeños detalles que aguarda la naturaleza que la hacen tan única.
Llegamos al centro del Bosque de los Pinos, y allí estaba yo abrazando a los árboles para conectar con la energía de su interior, no hay nada que de más paz y tranquilidad que esto, es una caricia para el alma, me gusta mucho el aroma que desprenden los pinos, es fresco, además el aire en este bosque se siente limpio.
También recolectamos algunas piñitas, en la tierra se encontraban muchas dispersas que seguramente serán nuevos pinos dentro de algunos años.
Me gustó mucho conocer este Bosque de los Pinos siempre es bueno conectar con la noble naturaleza y todos los elementos que la conforman, me sentí muy bien estando ahí.
