After my tournament victory the day before, we spent the evening enjoying a few cold drinks on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. As the city's original entertainment district, Fremont has a completely different atmosphere than the Strip. Since it was a Friday night, there was live music on three different stages. Personally, it was a little too crowded for my taste, but the enormous LED canopy stretching above the entire street was absolutely incredible.

The next morning, I took some time to wander through the Flamingo Casino and soak up a few more classic Las Vegas impressions.

For breakfast, I drove from the Strip to Chinatown, where the prices are much more reasonable. I found a fantastic café and enjoyed a turkey croissant along with an iced sea salt coffee.

Gabi Coffee & Bakery is an easy recommendation from me if you're visiting Las Vegas!
After my win two days earlier, I decided to play the $200 Daily Event at South Point once again. It turned out to be another great decision—I finished in 2nd place, earning $2,560.

Unfortunately, the trip came to an end far too soon. The following evening, it was already time to catch my flight back to Frankfurt.
Before heading to the airport, I had lunch at a modern Mexican restaurant called Amaya. The food was excellent, although—being on the Strip—the prices were, once again, a little on the expensive side.

After lunch, it was time to pack my bags, check out of the hotel, and make my way to the airport. Before boarding, I relaxed in the American Express Centurion Lounge and grabbed one last bite to eat.

The flight home was much more enjoyable than the flight to Las Vegas. Honestly, I would have loved to stay a little longer. There were still plenty of poker tournaments I wanted to play, and a trip to the Grand Canyon would have been amazing as well. Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough time on such a short trip.
I guess that means I'll have to come back to Vegas sooner rather than later!
Thanks for following along, and I'll see you in the next adventure.
