After the amazing lunch I told you about in the last post, we continued our journey to our hotel in Bilbao. The room was absolutely stunning, and after checking in, we treated ourselves to a cocktail on the rooftop terrace.

I honestly don't understand why the hotel Ercilla de Bilbao has such mixed reviews. We can only recommend it!
Since we didn't arrive until the afternoon, we mostly took the opportunity to relax. Later that evening, we went out for dinner in the neighborhood. For some reason, we were really craving tacos, and the food at Los Tacos de 10 by Surfin Tacos was fantastic!

The following day was dedicated to exploring Bilbao. We saw so much, and of course I'd love to share some of those impressions with you!

We had no idea that there would be such large Easter celebrations taking place during our visit. The Easter processions throughout the city were a little unusual from our perspective, but they were also incredibly impressive to watch.

That evening, we once again enjoyed pintxos at several different bars. Even after dinner, the Easter processions were still making their way through the streets.

The next day, we had planned a day trip to Santander. I'll tell you all about that adventure in the next post—coming the day after tomorrow!
