Taiguaiguay Lagoon, Aragua, Venezuela 🇻🇪/ Laguna de Taiguaiguay Aragua Venezuela

For days now, I’ve wanted to share with you the viewpoint overlooking Taiguaiguay Lagoon, but then the earthquake happened, and honestly, I just couldn’t bring myself to write about it. Now that it’s time to get our lives back on track, here’s a viewpoint that’s currently undergoing renovations; it’s located on the Cagua-La Villa national highway in Aragua State, Venezuela.

Desde hace días quería compartir con ustedes el mirador de la laguna de Taiguaiguay pero ocurrió lo del terremoto y la verdad no tenía cabeza para escribir como ya es hora de retomar nuestras vidas ahora sí aquí les comparto un mirador que está actualmente en remodelación está ubicado en la carretera nacional Cagua la villa en el estado Aragua Venezuela.

It is known as a lagoon, but it is actually a reservoir. There is a lookout point there that is currently under construction; in the past, it served as a stop for travelers because there used to be a restaurant there. Truck drivers would stop there to spend the night and rest before continuing on their way, as it has a large parking lot.

Es conocida como laguna pero en realidad es un embalse allí está un mirador que está en construcción antiguamente era la parada de los viajeros ya que funcionaba un restaurante los camióneros lo usaban para pernoctar y descansar para seguir si camino ya que cuenta con un amplio estacionamiento.

I asked the workers for permission to enter the grounds, since they're planning to build a tourist observation deck with restaurants there again. The view is beautiful—the sunsets are amazing. At the entrance, there's a sculpture of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández; to be honest, I don't know why, but it's been restored.

Yo le pedí permiso a los trabajadores para entrar a las instalaciones según tienen proyectado hacer un mirador turístico con restaurantes nuevamente, la vista es hermosa los atardeceres son lo máximo, en la entrada tienen una escultura de Dr José gregorio Hernández la verdad no sé la razón pero restaurada.

Tanto los amaneceres como los atardeceres son hermosos allí puedes observar variedad de la vida animal como garzas, patos, alcarabanes, está rodeada por montañas, yo iba camino a la ciudad de San Juan y no pude evitar pararme para tomar fotografías, aproveche que no había desayunado como lo llevaba en carro desayuno.

Both the sunrises and sunsets are beautiful there; you can see a variety of wildlife, such as herons, ducks, and night herons. It’s surrounded by mountains. I was on my way to the city of San Juan and couldn’t help but stop to take some pictures. Since I hadn’t had breakfast yet, I took advantage of the fact that I had breakfast with me in the car.
