I didn't even know what anise was, but when I tried it, I liked it so much that I ordered it and enjoyed it a lot.

Lol, the translation is wrong anyway. I knew what was anise, but I just didn't know that was the flavor of the ice cream, because it had another name.
I'm not a big anise fan, but... the ice cream was just delicious
