Visiting Cota - Outside Bogota City - Christmas Travel.

This trip is exclusive to Christmas 2025. I think it will be the last trip I take this year. I don't plan on traveling anymore, so I decided to show you the Christmas special of a trip to Cota, on the outskirts of Bogotá. The idea was always to see the Christmas lights.

I traveled at night because that was the only time I could. I went with my usual friends to have a good time. We went by car, so we decided to sing songs and enjoy the ride with caution.

When we arrived at our destination, we realized that the lights in the small town were beautiful. There were many lights covering the streets like a beautiful ceiling. The truth is that it's a fairly small area, but basically all the streets near the main square and the main square itself had some Christmas decorations that I thought were very cool, with giant polar bears, Christmas bears, and other cute things. I thought it was a very nice place to go with family or visit with friends.

It was a break from the city. I thought the people were quite friendly. There are some restaurants in the town and some cafes, which were closed at the time, but I thought the buildings were quite pretty. In fact, the place showed me houses with old facades, which made it even more beautiful. I love that kind of old colonial facade that gives it a Colombian touch.

As for places to stay overnight if you want to explore a little more, I didn't get any information because I went at night just to see the lights. I already mentioned that there was no way to see it from the beginning because we arrived a little late, but we did manage to see how the whole town was decorated. It was basically a road trip, and I loved sharing it with you.

Este viaje es exclusivo navideño del año 2025, creo que el ultimo viaje que hare en lo que queda de año, no tengo planeado viajar mas así que decidí mostrarles el especial navideño de un viaje a Cota, a las afueras de la ciudad de Bogotá, la idea siempre fue mirar el alumbrado Navideño.

Viaje de noche porque era a esa hora que podía, fui con mis amigos de siempre para pasar un rato chévere, fuimos en carro, así que en todo el camino decidimos cantar canciones y disfrutar de la pista con cautela.

Cuando llegamos al destino nos dimos cuenta que el alumbrado de la pequeña ciudad era hermoso, habían muchas luces que cubrían las calles en forma de techo muy hermoso, la verdad es una zona bastante pequeña, pero básicamente todas las calles cercanas a la plaza principal y la plaza principal estaban algunos adornos navideños que a mi parecer estaban muy cool, con el hecho de ser unos osos polares gigantes, ositos navideños, y cosas todas lindas, me pareció un lugar muy lindo para ir estar en familia o visitar con amigos.

Un respiro de la ciudad, me pareció que la gente es bastante amable, hay algunos restaurantes en el pueblo y algunas cafeterías, que para la hora estaban cerradas pero la estructura me pareció bastante linda, de hecho el lugar me mostro casas que tienen una fachada antigua por lo que la hace mas bella todavía, me encanta ese tipo de fachada antigua colonial que le da el toque Colombiano.

Con respecto a lugares para quedarse a dormir alguna noche si vas a pasear un poco mas, no obtuve información, porque fui de noche y fui solo a ver el alumbrado, ya comente que no hubo manera de verlo desde el principio porque llegamos un poco tarde, pero si logramos mirar como quedo adornado todo el pueblo, fue básicamente una aventura de carretera, y me encanto compartirla con ustedes.
