Crikey, I thought that's very cheap and impressed that you did it as a day trip. Then reread it, and you started off at Bodmin! That makes more sense.
I've heard that St Ives is very pretty and hubs said we've been before, but I have absolutely no recollection of it 🫪

LOL, yes was visiting friends for a few days.
After the summer is a good bet without a doubt! I do myself love these old Cornish towns off season when you can roam freely
