RE: A Glimpse of Peru
Lima was my last stop 10 years ago from our Machu Picchu trip. It was very different from the rest of the country that we saw. Particularly Miraflores was like two worlds from the old part of the city. I remember thinking it was nice to come back to some civilisation after the rawness of the trip.

As I mentioned to multiple people, Lima and also Peru in general is so close to me and so well connected that it is a shame that I haven't visited the country for this long. The flights are 6 hrs and perfectly timed, very comfortable! So, I will have to fix the lack of Peru this year!
I in fact want to get away from the modern part of Peru, but yeah in due time. I have to get my ducks in a row :)
