The Level Family Room at the Meliá Internacional Varadero Hotel (Eng/Esp)

Hello, Hive travellers! Greetings to you all. I hope you’re having a lovely day and that God blesses you always. On this occasion, I’d like to share with you a key highlight of my honeymoon: our room. As we spent a great deal of time there during our stay at the hotel, I really wanted to show it to you.

¡Hola hivers viajeros! Un saludo para todos. Deseo que tengan un lindo día y que Dios los bendiga siempre. En esta ocasión quiero compartir con ustedes un punto clave en mi viaje de Luna de Miel: nuestra habitación. Porque mucho tiempo durante nuestra experiencia en el hotel fue en ella, por eso no quiero dejar de mostrárselas.

Our room was in The Level Family building, which, together with The Level section, makes up the VIP area of the hotel – this comes with certain benefits, as it gives you access to extra services and facilities. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was really easy to feel at home there.

Nuestra habitación pertenecía al edificio The Level Family que junto a la sección The Level, constituyen la parte VIP del hotel lo cual da ciertos beneficios, pues te dan acceso a servicios y facilidades extra del hotel. La habitación era muy cómoda y limpia. Era muy fácil sentirse como en casa en ella.

Right by the entrance there was a luggage rack, a wardrobe with several hangers, and they’d provided us with some parasols in case we wanted to go for a walk. I thought that was a lovely touch.

Justo a la entrada había un mueble porta maletas, el closet con varios percheros y nos colocaron unas sombrillas por si queríamos salir a dar un paseo. Eso me pareció un detalle muy bonito.

One thing I really loved was the bathroom design: there was a main area with the washbasin and a large mirror, and to the left there was a door leading to the toilet. To the right, there was a glass partition leading to twin showers for couples. I thought the bathroom design was very clever and comfortable.

Algo que me encantó fue el diseño del baño, tenía una parte principal donde estaba el lavamos con un espejo grande y a la izquierda tenía una puerta donde estaba el inodoro. Mientras que a la derecha había una mampara de cristal que daba acceso a duchas dobles para bañarse en pareja. El diseño del baño me pareció muy inteligente y cómodo.

In the bedroom was the bed, which was very large and soft – it was extremely comfortable. On either side of the bed were the bedside tables. There was also a dressing table with a mirror, as well as two tables: a smaller one situated near a small sofa, and a larger glass one accompanied by two chairs in case we wanted to have a bite to eat in the room.

En el dormitorio estaba la cama, la cual era muy grande y suave, era sumamente agradable. A ambos lados de la cama estaban las mesitas de noche. Además había un mueble tocador con su espejo y además habían dos mesas, una más pequeña ubicada cerca de un pequeño sofá y otra más grande y de cristal acompañada de dos sillas por si deseábamos comer algo en la habitación.

All the rooms had a balcony; this was my favourite part of the room, because the view was lovely – you could see both the swimming pool and the sea at the same time. There were two seats where we could sit together and some very handy clotheslines for hanging out the washing to dry.

Todas las habitaciones tenían balcón, está era mi parte favorita de la habitación, porque la vista era encantadora, se podía ver la piscina y el mar a la vez. Allí teníamos dos asientos para sentarnos juntos y unos tendederos muy prácticos para colgar a secar la ropa.

I think every little detail in the room’s design has been thought out with guests’ comfort in mind. My husband and I felt very at home. So I’d highly recommend this hotel if you decide to visit Matanzas. Best wishes to you all. See you next time.
