Under the Pier in Flagler Beach
I've made a few Drone videos flying over the pier and beach here and here. This time, it's a view from under the pier and nearby beach.
Some of you may have seen my previous drone posts of the pier construction here in Flagler Beach. Now the old pier is completely gone. What you see standing is a temporary construction pier.
The new pier will be built on top of these new concrete pilings. I found it interesting how they angle the side pilings in towards the center.
Not sure what the marks are for.
Of course, love the Pelicans flying by.
And this final pic is where I started from. As you can see, I got a nice little hike in walking down the beach as well. Overall, a great morning to be on the beach! Still a little chilly for swimming, but next week time to get the wet suit on and surf!

Very nice! Looks like they are coming right along. I thought those first photos were wood and I was like dang how did they get such big pieces of wood, but then I realized it's concrete I think :)
