Hello Love Philippines!
Mabuhay!
Today I'll show you a beautiful and historical place of Camiguin Island. This has been a story in my mind since my husband keeps on telling me the table about this and luckily I was able to visit this place in person.

This is what you can find in the entrance of the place. This is a stone built structure which the history of this place is written.

The tarpaulin says "Panaad in Camiguin" This means a promise to Camiguin. People had a tradition here during the Panaad week that they are going to walk throughout the whole island by foot. This sacrifice is a tribute to how sacrificing this place is just to make it a habitat for human. This is a miracle island form because of a volcano so people celebrate this nature's sacrifice through walking the whole day aiming to walk throughout the island.

I don't know what this stone is used before but the placement of the name of this place is really good. A perfect place to take a picture.

I love the big trees surrounding the area. It's giving a very cold ambiance. The very green lush trees provides shade to all the visitors and as well as it gives a beautiful view of the place. Looks like you are in the mountains but actually this is near the main road.

This is the centennial tree here. This is actually very huge. I never imagine how strong this tree was. It stands through so many typhoons and earthquakes. We took a picture for a clearer view how huge this is. My father was so amazed how this tree lives because it's just 5 meters away from the ocean.

This is the first thing you are going to see when you enter the main entrance. It was a very big space. This is the hallway and the benches are located before or shall we say the main hall where mass happens.

This is the other part of the church called storage room and priest room. There is a watch tower here that also functions at night. This place needs a watchtower because this place is kind of dark and if ships come here this place is not good for docking.

I got a lovely post here. Feel the very friendly ambiance of the place. I know I'll be back here very long time soon so I savor the moment being here. It's so beautiful in the eyes, the wind is very chill and if only this place allows a picnic set up it would be definitely be the best.
Well that's all about my travel. I have so many places to tell you more. I travel it once in a while but it took me several months to post because of a very busy schedule. Thank you so much for reading my blog. I appreciate all your comments and reblogs.
Love, Krissy from Philippines.
