Hello @worldmappin community!
After our most beautiful boat ride experience from Valletta, we finally arrived in Sliema. We wanted to soak in another part of Malta. We enjoyed our afternoon by simply walking around the place.
Our ferry boat ride gave us a beautiful little experience.
Sliema immediately gave us a different atmosphere and was a busy city.
There were lots of people walking around the streets, talking with friends, sitting outside restaurants and cafes simply enjoying their time.

We passed by with the beautiful viewpoint in Sliema looking over to Valletta. With palm trees, blue sky, and that iconic dome in the distance.
The large dome in the skyline belongs to the Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and the tall Gothic spire next to it belongs to St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral.
Soon I will share with you our church visit to St. Paul's Co-Cathedral.

One thing I noticed was quite a lot of construction happening in the area. Some older buildings were being worked on and others for new developments.

We also stumble upon the beautiful church-Stella Maris Parish Church, Sliema’s landmark.

The Point Shopping Mall.
The beautiful stone arches of The Point were beautiful. It was an old building, big stone arches with honey colored stones. It's part of the old Tigné Barracks, from British time in Malta.
Z and Aya were excited to go inside. Whenever we travel, shopping is part of our adventure. Kids wants to buy something for themselves and souvenirs for their friends. We gave them a budget every time we travel.

While our kids were busy and having fun exploring the shops, my husband and I decided to have a simple time together. We went to a coffee shop while we waited for our kids. Our coffee date.
It was our quiet bonding together, sitting down with our favorite coffee gave us a chance to relax. We were watching the people passing by and enjoying the cold atmosphere after walking under the sun.
My husband isn't a fan of shopping and photos. So whenever we go out shopping,he usually stays in a coffee shop.

When the kids finished checking the mall and shirt for themselves, we went outside for a walk. I can say that the streets in Sliema were full of life. From shopping, walking toward the waterfront and more.

The beautiful Mediterranean blue sea, stone buildings, and clear sky made everything so peaceful. We stayed for a while just to enjoy what we saw. Beautiful nature indeed.

Before we went back to Valletta, we ate at Kalama.
It was a simple afternoon with my family, just exploring and then walking along the waterfront .

We went back to the ferry point to go back to Valletta. Our perfect way to end our afternoon was by enjoying the beautiful ride and sea breeze.
Malta really stole our hearts again and gave us beautiful memories we will treasure forever. ❤️ Hope you enjoy our family adventure. Can't wait to share with you our next Malta adventures.

Until next time, Sliema! 🇲🇹💙
