We ended our short trip before heading back home was Solomon Tower. It was an unexpected plan for us to stop there.
Unfortunately, our last visit turned out to be closed. And so he had to adjust his plans. Then my husband remembered that a tower was located nearby.
We made a quick stop, as we drove along the winding road. We were greeted by the beautiful and calm scenery.
We saw a monument before heading to our destination.

The historic Solomon Tower is located in Visegrád on Salamontorony Ultra near the Danube River. It stands proudly on a hill in Visegrád and an overlooking view of the Danube River.
It was slowly changing the sky because it was late afternoon when we arrived in the area. It was cold and windy when we're walking towards the castle.

Beautiful castles never fails to amaze me. And visiting a castle was once just a dream I had when I was little. Now that dream has come true and I’ve been fortunate to visit many castles. And even my daughter Aya experienced it too.

The massive stone walls, weathered by time that have lasted for centuries. Solomon Tower stood proudly that reflects a powerful and rich in history. We were excited to climb the tower and looking forward to witness the panoramic view of the Danube River between the mountains. Unfortunately, the viewing deck was already closed
The area around it feels quiet. We were the only people in the area. We did not feel disappointed but instead we chose to enjoy the beautiful view.
The castle entrance looked serene. The tower rose above us and the surroundings were beautiful. And also telling us how strong it had stood for history.

We spent some time walking around the area while capturing photos and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
As the sun began to set and reminded us that our day trip was coming to an end. Our visit to the castle didn’t last long and was still memorable. Hopefully, we'll come back to climb up into the tower.
It reminded us that beauty isn't always found at the top and daylight. And sometimes it's in the moment you're in.

My husband already knows the drill when we pads by the Basillica so I can capture it's beauty, especially at night. The Basilica becomes even more breathtaking. We were grateful to witness the impressive architecture. That night, the moment feel more calm and magical.
