Travelling Along the Famous Cebu-Cordova Link Express Way (CCLEX)

Sharing my smooth travel in CCLEX road with fresh air and captivating views on the its either side.

Almost every week or every month I passed by in this famous Cordova , Cebu road, the CCLEX when I went to Cebu city when I had scheduled basketball officiating . This Express Way is connecting from Cordova to Cebu City mainland and it helps to shorten the travel from 1 hour reduced to 20 minutes from my homeland based on my experienced.

The construction of this 8.9 ( 5.5 miles) Link Expressway begun on 2017 with huge budget of 33 billion and completed by 2022. This is a dream bridge for Cebuano People and part of build-build projects campaign by former Philippine President , Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
This bridge helps big to minimize traffic congestion in the first Mactan Bridge of Lapu-Lapu City which is very narrow. For the record, CCLEX is now the longest sea-crossing bridge in the Philippines that surpasses the San Juanico Bridge connecting Leyte and Samar which is only 2.16 km .

The bridge is provided with solar lights on each post to make it safety during night time . At the center of the road there are plants being planted to make it attractive for the travellers. On its side we can see fishponds and mangrove forest . This portion of CCLEX bridge is the boundary between Lapu-Lapu City and Cordova, Cebu .

At the both sidewalks of the bridge, there were many people did jogging ang walking . The place is very safe to do the routine exercises .
We are so thankful to the former President Duterte for leaving this lifetime project for us and to the the next generation . He will leave soon for us , but his legacy to had lead the Philippines will be remembered forever.
