Our Summer Escapade in Basdaku White Beach Resort in Saavedra, Moalboal, Cebu

Today I would like to share our summer escapade in one of the famous tourists destinations in Southern Cebu, " Basdaku White Beach Resort" in Saavedra, Moalboal, Cebu .

I am proud to share our long travel in Southern part of Cebu ,just to reach the famous beach resort there. From our home town of Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City , we need to travel for about 111 km , around 4 hours just to reach there . We departed at home at around 6 am and reached there passed 10 am. It was really a tiring journey for us. It was my first time that I travelled that very long distance with motorcycle. I felt the back pain , numbness of hands in driving under the intense heat of the sun which was about 34⁰. But, when we reached at the beach , it was really a worth it travel for the stunning natural white beach which is very long at the shore . The sea is very clear , in which you can lay down on the white sand while watching the stunning views of the sea and the opposite long island of Negros .

In the beach, there is area for private and for public . We chose public to save money in which the entrance is only 10 pesos per head , and cottage is 1500 pesos . In our cottage we had some foods bought in Carcar City, which was "lechon baboy" and some drinks .

In the beach, I felt the intense heat of the sun , and my body didn't stop sweating . So, I walked along the beach despite of the sun's heat , and amazed upon seeing some foreigners there were laying down the sand and absorbed the heat of the sun which was 32 to 34 degrees .

As I walked around the beach,people there were enjoying swimming even during 12:00 noon and beyond. After several minutes of observing the beauty of the beach , I joined my wife and companions on the shore . I observed that the sea was not hot but cold even the intense heat of the sun . We enjoyed swimming together for about 2 hours . At around 4:30 pm , we departed the beach and need to go home.

It was a very memorable long travel for me and my wife . Hoping to have more travels while we can still able to travel in good health .
