Viaje a Caripe/ Travel to Caripe [ESP]/ [ENG]

Hola a todos amigos y amigas de Worldmappin. Después de los terribles acontecimientos que ocurrieron en el doble terremoto en Venezuela, no tenía ganas de publicar ni compartir viajes en la comunidad. Luego de un tiempo quise compartir con ustedes un viaje que hice al pueblo de Caripe hace unas semanas antes de los terremotos en el país.

Hello everyone, friends of Worldmappin. After the terrible events of the double earthquake in Venezuela, I didn't feel like posting or sharing any trips with the community. After some time, I wanted to share with you a trip I took to the town of Caripe a few weeks before the earthquakes in the country.

Monumento al Guacharo

Este viaje lo hice con los amigos de Golfo Tours, primera vez que viajaba con ellos y me parecieron excelentes, los recomiendo al 100%. Nuestra primera parada fue el reconocido Monumento al Guacharo. Allí tomamos fotos y compramos algunas frutas y comidas para el camino.

I took this trip with the folks at Golfo Tours. It was my first time traveling with them, and I thought they were excellent; I highly recommend them. Our first stop was the famous Guacharo Monument. There, we took photos and bought some fruit and snacks for the road.

Nuestra segunda parada fue la plaza principal de Caripe. Me impresionó mucho lo tranquilo, bien ordenado y limpio que estaban las calles y sus plazas.

Our second stop was the main square of Caripe. I was very impressed by how peaceful, well-ordered, and clean the streets and squares were.

Nuestra tercera parada fue el restaurante La Bodeguita, un lugar muy pintoresco y excelente para que la familia tome fotos para el recuerdo del viaje. Allí estuvimos pocos minutos para que nos diera tiempo para abarcar todo el tour a Caripe.

Our third stop was La Bodeguita restaurant, a very picturesque spot and excellent for the family to take photos to remember the trip. We only stayed there for a few minutes so we could cover the entire Caripe tour.

Luego fuimos a un lugar muy especial y que tenía mucho tiempo queriendo ir. Animania es un zoológico y criadero de animales que rescata animales en peligro, heridos o huérfanos y una vez recuperados los devuelve a la naturaleza. Allí nos tomamos fotos con culebras, aguilas, monos, pájaros, conejos, osos hormigueros y muchos más. Recomiendo que si van a Caripe no pueden dejar pasar este lugar, les va a encantar.

Then we went to a very special place that I'd been wanting to visit for a long time. Animania is a zoo and animal sanctuary that rescues endangered, injured, or orphaned animals and, once they've recovered, releases them back into the wild. There, we took pictures with snakes, eagles, monkeys, birds, rabbits, anteaters, and many more. I highly recommend that if you go to Caripe, you absolutely must visit this place; you'll love it.

Por último y no menos importante fuimos a la famosa Cueva del Guacharo. Para esta temporada no había mucha gente como en otros meses. Allí tomamos fotos y compramos algunos obsequios y dulces autóctonos de la zona. Espero volver muy pronto a Caripe, para mí es uno de los pueblos de Venezuela que más me gusta.

Last but not least, we went to the famous Guácharo Cave. It wasn't as crowded this time of year as in other months. We took photos and bought some souvenirs and local sweets. I hope to return to Caripe very soon; it's one of my favorite towns in Venezuela.
