​¡Hola a toda la comunidad de @Worldmappin y amantes de los viajes! 🌍✨
​A veces, la rutina diaria y las jornadas de trabajo nos dejan agotados, pero tener el mar cerca de casa es una bendición que no tiene precio. Nosotros vivimos en Siboney, Santiago de Cuba, un lugar donde la brisa marina está a solo unos pasos de nuestra puerta.
​Hoy, tras una mañana de trabajo, mi esposo me sorprendió con una buena invitacióna la playa. Sin pensarlo dos veces, tomamos lo necesario y salimos a disfrutar de la tarde.

Al llegar, la tranquilidad del paisaje nos envolvió de inmediato. Playa Siboney tiene esa combinación única de zona costera rocosa, su muelle de concreto y la playa que te invita a caminar por la orilla mientras escuchas el romper de las olas.

Decidimos caminar por el muelle para alejarnos un poco del bullicio y contemplar la inmensidad del agua. Es nuestro rincón favorito para sentir el viento en el rostro y dejar que las tensiones del día se evaporen.

El agua lucía serena con esos tonos azules vibrantes y los destellos del sol sobre la superficie. No pude resistirme a tomarme un momento para contemplar el horizonte. Tener estos paisajes tan cerca nos recuerda lo afortunados que somos de vivir en esta parte de la isla.

A nuestras espaldas, las montañas verdes bordeadas por la costa crean un contraste fascinante entre el mar Caribbean y la naturaleza montañosa de Santiago de Cuba.
​Fue una tarde sencilla pero revitalizante; la compañía perfecta, el sonido del mar y la paz que solo la naturaleza puede regalarnos. ¡Definitivamente no hay mejor remedio para el estrés que una escapada espontánea a la playa!

​Sometimes, the daily routine and long workdays leave us exhausted, but having the sea so close to home is an priceless blessing. We live in Siboney, Santiago de Cuba, a place where the ocean breeze is just a few steps away from our front door.
​Today, after a morning of work, my husband surprised me with a wonderful invitation to the beach. Without thinking twice, we grabbed what we needed and went out to enjoy the afternoon.

Upon arriving, the tranquility of the landscape immediately embraced us. Siboney Beach has that unique combination of a rocky coastline, a concrete pier, and a shore that invites you to walk along the water while listening to the sound of crashing waves.

​We decided to walk along the pier to get away from the hustle and bustle and contemplate the vastness of the sea. It is our favorite spot to feel the wind on our faces and let the day's stress evaporate.

The water looked serene with vibrant shades of blue and the sun sparkling across the surface. I couldn't resist taking a moment to gaze at the horizon. Having these views so close reminds us how lucky we are to live in this part of the island.

Behind us, the green mountains bordering the coast create a fascinating contrast between the Caribbean Sea and the mountainous nature of Santiago de Cuba.
​It was a simple yet rejuvenating afternoon; the perfect company, the sound of the ocean, and the peace that only nature can offer. There truly is no better remedy for stress than a spontaneous trip to the beach!
