Christmas Symbols of Molave Plaza: A Story of Light, Unity, and Hope

Every Christmas season, the Molave Plaza in Zamboanga del Sur becomes a very special place. It is not just a plaza. It becomes a home of lights, stories, and shared dreams. Every year, different sectors of Molave join a Christmas symbol contest. Each group builds a symbol that shows who they are and what they value. Because of this, the plaza shines not only with lights but also with unity.

One of the most eye-catching symbols is the big white chicken of White Feather Corporation, a chicken-processing food company. The chicken is very large and bright. It is filled with lights that glow beautifully at night. Its feathers are made of white cloth and white seashells, making it look pure and peaceful. This symbol shows hard work, creativity, and pride in local business.

Another beautiful symbol is the big church made of wood and gold lights. It represents faith and hope. For many people in Molave, the church is a place of prayer and comfort. Seeing this symbol reminds everyone that Christmas is also about love, kindness, and believing in something greater.

There is also a tall star castle that represents CITI Star Corporation. This company is known for ticketing services, school supplies, tarpaulin printing, and other stationery needs. The star castle shines brightly and stands tall, showing guidance and direction, just like a star that leads people to the right path.

Walking around the plaza, you can also see a bahay kubo and many other creative displays. Each symbol tells a story. Each one shows effort, teamwork, and love for the town.

The plaza, together with the municipal office, proudly displays the “#MOLAVE” signage. It is made of colorful lanterns and lights. This sign is very meaningful.
