This sounds like such a cozy weekend. I love how you showed that a trip doesn't have to be packed with expensive activities to be memorable. Browsing unique shops, discovering interesting spices, enjoying simple but delicious food by the Defender, and ending the day around a campfire already sounds like the perfect escape. Your story about your dad was especially touching. I really believe the people we love stay with us in little moments like these, through the places we visit and the memories they helped create. Daylesford definitely moved higher on my travel list after reading this. I hope I can visit someday and experience those markets, peaceful walks, and amazing food too. 😊
