Our small paradise

(edited)

$1

Hello, friends, travelers, and community! I hope you are all doing well. It's been a long time since I posted here because I was in India. This trip presented us with many challenges and adventures, including extreme temperatures, power cuts, unstable internet, and a few scheduled projects, along with technical issues with my computer.

For a while, I had to use my old laptop, but since it wasn't updated, it was very slow for making larger posts. As a result, I took a small break from my favorite communities, #worldmappin and #plantpower. I was looking forward to returning to our Western world. Due to the ongoing conflict, our return ticket was changed three times, and we finally arrived back four days ago.

What was supposed to be a comfortable journey turned into a two-day ordeal. However, we are grateful to have made it back safely, and I now have my spare computer available.

Let me start by sharing my experience in paradise while in India. When we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm atmosphere, just as we have every year. We were very happy to see that everything was still in place, even though it had rained heavily until November due to the extended monsoon season.

Our huge garden was nice and clean, but there were very few flowering plants; the mango trees were late to bloom. Some birds were enjoying their favorite fruits and insects. Everything felt welcoming to us. We also took a small tour to the beach; it was a lovely, calm morning—still and quiet. The sunrise was accompanied by a slight foggy mist.

A sandpiper was busy catching small crabs.

Fishing boats had just come out of the water, some of the fishermen finished collecting fish, and some of the fishermen were busy removing their catch from their nets.

After a beautiful sunrise, we came back home

The sun was shining through the front door.

A little mist under palm trees.

Visiting the Ganesh temple and the town protector is an important part of the tradition here. There are many temples around, where people have faith and belief in that higher power, so we also.

The offering is flowers and bananas.

And market vendors.
