that tower has got fantastic architecture, what a shame you couldn't get inside!
It is weird I agree that we very rarely visit places sat on our own doorstop. Missing some interesting places in the process.

I really wish someday I'll see this restored and open for people. I bet it offers a great view over the city from up there!
yes it would, and the engineering bits inside would look great photographed, you should "fall" against the door and see if it opens LOL
