A Visit to Morrocoy National Park [ENG/ESP]

A Visit to Morrocoy National Park [ENG/ESP]

Greetings to all the travelers in this vibrant @worldmappin community—I wish you all the best as the weekend begins.

Last weekend, I went out with my family to enjoy a few days at the beach, something we hadn’t done in quite a while due to work and other commitments. But this time there was no excuse to put it off, as it was an invitation from the company I work for to meet up in Tucacas, Falcón state.

We left after four in the afternoon and found a fairly deserted highway, but with a very cloudy sky and heavy rain in some sections of the road, so I had to slow down for safety. We didn’t want to arrive first, but simply to arrive safely.

After passing the toll booths in Lara and Yaracuy, which are very close to each other, we entered Yaracuy state, as indicated by the arch representing this state. The stretch through this state is the longest part of the route, and it wasn’t until we entered Morón—where the Pequiven company is located—that we reached Carabobo state and could say we were close to our destination.

After passing Pequiven, we entered Falcón state, and here we began to see the beach on our right with its characteristic palm trees and that fishy smell that can be detected from afar.

The breeze shifts, and you can hear the sound of the sea as the waves crash against the shore. There are shops all along the shore selling all kinds of beach accessories, food, and other items.

We arrived in Boca de Aroa and stayed at a hotel called La Aventura, where we were welcomed to kick off our weekend getaway.

The next day we headed to Tucacas, which is very close by. The weather was sunny and the sky clear—perfect for a day at the beach. The sun was blazing and quite hot, but the sea breeze cooled us off as we drove along.

Tucacas is a place with a wealth of hotel infrastructure, spread out along the main road. This is due to the large number of tourists who visit this area during the vacation season. Although there are many hotels, it is essential to book in advance to avoid being left out in the cold.

Buildings of various shapes, colors, and heights can be seen, adorned with eye-catching signs to attract customers. Many people on the street offering tour packages and others selling beach-related merchandise can be seen all along the entrance to Morrocoy National Park.

Upon entering the park, you have to travel quite a distance before reaching the beaches; however, there are shuttle services that transport people from the entrance to the beach.

The weather conditions were perfect for a day at the beach. Calm waters, a deep blue sky, and bright sunshine make these beaches a popular spot for both locals and tourists who visit these natural wonders every week.

That wraps up this tour; we’ll see you next time.

Best regards and blessings.

No queríamos llegar primero sino simplemente llegar bien.

Saludos y bendiciones.

Best wishes
