The town of Vrsar in Istria

Today I will take you through a small town in Croatia called Vrsar with a picture and a story.
Vrsar is located in Istria, the largest peninsula of the Adriatic Sea. It is located in the northeast of the Adriatic coast.
Vrasar is a coastal town, located about 10 km from the larger city of Poreč. It is a fishing town, and apart from fishing, the cultivation of vines and of course tourism is also developed. It has its own marina, old buildings, a church with a campanile, a specific bell.

The settlement rises gently from the shore, which is full of stone paths, narrow stone streets, as well as stone houses. A real seaside place.

An interesting fact related to Vrsar is that near it was the largest nudist beach, which was allegedly visited by Casanova.
Residents installed a bust of Casanova, which was soon removed, because many complained about it, and after a few years, the bust of Casanova sitting on a bench in front of an inn was returned.

We were in Vrsar for 4 days and had a really nice time. The place is highly recommended as a choice for a vacation. We continued our journey and came to Slovenia through Istria.
