Good morning @avdesing. You've touched on one of my weaknesses: the Vallecas School. I also think I recognized other artists I admire—I really do. They are Millares and Antonio Saura.
I couldn't say which part of the exhibition I liked best; the Earth and the Surrealist perspective are present throughout.
Besides its founders, Benjamín Palencia and Alberto Sánchez (of whom there's a large monument displayed in front of the Reina Sofía entrance), the Vallecas School also included figures like Federico García Lorca and Miguel Hernández.
Thank you so much; it's always a pleasure to accompany you to museums and exhibition halls, but this time it was very special.
I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday. Thank you.
I was sure you would like this exhibition, when I saw it I was enchanted with it and each of the works. There are some that you didn't see... you'll see them, I selected them specially. It's a luxury museum every time I go there, one of the best! I'm glad you liked it. Thank you very much!🤗
It's true that I enjoyed it... 😍 it seems like that exhibition was made just for me, and it's also true that you have excellent taste in art. I'm in no hurry to see the remaining works, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it again like a child. 😀
Regarding the Vallecas School, I should tell you that there was still a continuation of it in Madrid in the 1980s.
Thanks again.
