Preparations for a trip to the French Riviera included making a must-see list.
One of those must-sees, when I was in Cannes, was a tour of the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes and taking pictures on the red carpet.

I knew that by visiting Cannes at the end of April (the plan was to be in Cannes on 23.04) I would miss the famous film festival that takes place in May, which suited me, because I thought I would visit the famous festival hall when it was not crowded, however, I was not lucky.
From 23 to 28.04. the 9th Canneseries - Cannes International Series Festival was held in Cannes.

Instead of a red carpet, we were greeted by a pink carpet and railings that prevented us from climbing up to the entrance above the stairs.

I had the idea to enter one of the theater halls where festivals are held, Grand Théâtre Lumière or Théâtre Claude Debussy, however, due to the upcoming series festival, entry was not possible.

The closest I got was the approach to the entrance to the Claude Debussy theater.
It was possible to enter the visitor's area, where tickets were bought for tonight's event, in which I photographed several palm prints of famous actors and directors.

Plaques with palm prints are also located in front of the festival palace, along the entire length of the Allée des Étoiles and one after the other they go all the way to the park at the beginning of the Cannes promenade - Croissete.

I didn't have time to stay until the evening, when the Canneseries program started.

So after taking pictures of the palace of the festival and a Casino in the continuation of the palace, I continued the tour of the old city center and headed up the hill to the Le Suquet fortress, which I will write about another time.
