Lago di Braies the most beautiful lake of the Dolomites.

Hello to all who love traveling. On one of many trips, I visited northern Italy and the Dolomites mountain range. Today I will write to you about a visit to Lake Lago di Braies, which is located in the heart of the Dolomites.
You often hear and see beautiful photos and think that they are computer-generated because they seem unreal. Well, such a place exists and it is Lake jeste jezero Lago di Braies . I have wanted to see this beauty for a long time and as soon as the opportunity arose, I took advantage of it.And the road was interesting. I drove through forested areas with many curves until I reached my destination.And when I arrived 200 meters from the parking lot, a great sight unfolded. A turquoise-emerald lake in front of me and all around the famous Dolomites. I cherish a love for mountain regions in my heart and when I see something like this, I am left speechless in front of so much beauty.I was there in July, and despite the fact that it was summer, I wore a jacket. It was cold. I heard tourists talking about how beautiful it is here any time of year, especially autumn, because it has so many colors. And in winter, the lake is frozen.





On the lake there is a famous wooden boathouse that stands on wooden poles right above the water. Old wooden boats were neatly tied up along its edge. We sat in one of them and headed out to the middle of the lake.After the boat ride, I decided to walk along the path that goes around the entire lake. This trail, about three and a half kilometers long, and the lake can be viewed from various angles. It's beautiful no matter where you look at it. There are many legends about this lake, and one of them is that there is a treasure at the bottom and that only a pure soul can reach it.

As we walked along the path, we saw a stone chapel and went to the "Pragser Wildsee" hotel, built at the end of the 19th century. This hotel once served as a prison during World War II. We had lunch, rested, and I took a room because another adventure awaits me, a tour of the mountain.
