After leaving Timisoara, I headed south towards the city of Craiova. I heard that it is the most beautifully decorated city in Europe at Christmas time. Many people from Serbia go there for the Christmas holidays. I liked the idea because it is very close and I could afford it next year. When I arrived, I noticed that it was an unusually lively commercial center. It has a population of 70,000 people living in a large area, but it has maintained a rural appearance. Only two main streets are modern. But despite that, you can still admire the beauty of this city.It has a rich history and many of my countrymen live here. They come and stay, falling in love with this beauty. What is so fascinating about the city? First of all and most of all - the city park. Well, I never thought about the fact that I could be conquered by a city park in a city, and that happened in Craiova. My tour is just starting in the biggest park in Europe. What is so fascinating about the city? First and foremost - the city park. Well, I never thought that I could be captivated by a city park in a city, and that's what happened in Craiova. My tour is about to begin in the largest park in Eastern Europe, Nicolae Romanescu Park

The park was designed in 1901 and received an award at the world exhibition for it, it is perfectly maintained to this day, it covers 90 hectares and in that area there is also a zoo, a hippodrome and a beautiful suspension bridge. It reminds me of the one I saw in Lyon.If anyone wants, they can take a boat ride on the Jiu River. The park is full of beautiful flowers, fountains, benches, and walking paths.

From the park I headed towards the city center. At the exit from the park a flower train was waiting for me, which I took to the square. Now I felt like a king haha.

The central city square and main gathering place. It is surrounded by magnificent administrative buildings, fountains, and a monument to the Wallachian Duke Michael the Brave. In the very center is the Orthodox Cathedral of Bani's House, the oldest building in the city.In the very center is a pedestrian zone full of beautiful facades from the 19th century, cafes and restaurants. It has a beautiful fountain. And as far as I understand, this square is decorated during Christmas in the style of Beauty and the Beast, and many say that it is the most beautifully decorated stole not only in Europe but also in the world.

There are about 45 churches in Craiova. I managed to see a few that were there near the center.
