Hello everyone. Today I will write to you about my visit to Edinburgh, Scotland. I visited it in July but it was very cold. With a group of friends we spent three days in this knightly city and our goal was to climb to Arthur's Seat because you know I am a nature lover. In my opinion, 2 days are enough to explore the city, but we organized a trip and stayed for three days.My friend is a whiskey lover and he decided to come with us to try a real Scottish whiskey. Afraid that he would stay in the pub on the first day, we decided to climb up to "Arthur's Seat" and they told us that there is the most beautiful view of the city from there. The climb takes about an hour and is not too difficult, the reward at the top is an unreal view, especially at sunset. Many locals come here to run, picnic or simply enjoy the peace and quiet. There were quite a few visitors that day

After this unforgettable adventure, we spent the second and third days touring the city. This time without my wife because she got a fever. She caught a cold. She stayed at the hotel. The first thing you must visit is the castle.Edinburgh castle is the most famous landmark in all of Scotland, not only in Edinburgh. It stands tall and imposing on a rock above the city. The castle that was besieged the most times in history. Dark stories unfolded within the walls. At one time it was a prison, where executions, tortures, executions took place, and from there mysteries and stories about ghosts started. Legends tell of the ghosts of former prisoners who roam the castle.Because of all of the above, I didn't have the slightest desire to enter the castle haha, I'm not a coward, but the women who were with us didn't want to.The most beautiful view of the castle is from the cemetery at the foot. A path runs through the cemetery to Princes Street Garden, which also offers a beautiful view.

Princes Street Gardens is one of the most important city parks located in the heart of Edinburgh at the foot of the Castle, separating the Old and New Towns.I took a lot of photos there and we spent 3 hours enjoying the park.

Since we were in the park at the foot of the castle, we headed towards the Royal Mile. The Royal Mile connects the castle and the royal palace, and along it you will find pubs, shops, museums and street performers. It is an especially magical time when lanterns are lit, music and the smell of whisky fill the air. It's the most beautiful street in the city, which, in addition to pubs, also has many museums and shops. But first we stopped for a whiskey. It's the most beautiful street in the city, which, in addition to pubs, also has many museums and shops. But first we stopped for a whiskey.

What I didn't want to miss, and I've already arrived in this beautiful city, is to visit the place from which you can see the city the most beautiful. But unfortunately the weather wasn't suitable for me to at least capture the sunset.Calton Hill is one of the most famous sunset spots in Edinburgh. It is located close to the city center, and the view from the top includes the castle, Princes Street and the sea in the distance. The hill is also home to famous monuments, a national monument

Late in the afternoon we headed to the new part of town. Our wives visited the boutiques and I honestly wasn't as impressed as I was with the old part of town. When I get back I have a friend who is a painter and I will ask him to draw me a photograph that has stayed in my heart, as has the city. I am delighted.

everything looks amazing 😍 Edinburgh has always been on my travel bucket list so seeing it through your post makes my heart so happy!! Thank you for taking us on a virtual tour! The castle really looks scary to explore, but I’d love to explore it someday but there’s no way I’d go alone 😆
Čestitam na odličnom blogu!👌
Arthur’s Seat sounds perfect for that.
