After visiting the Beatles Ashram, we stepped out to look for dinner. No plan, no list. Just walking around the streets of Rishikesh. Somewhere in between, we walked into 60’s Cafe without expecting much. I honestly thought it would be just another cafe stop.

As soon as we entered, I noticed Beatles music was playing softly in the background with Old posters covering the walls. The place felt different. Calm. Cozy. Not loud, not trying too hard. Just comforting.
The love for The Beatles is everywhere in the cafe. I’ll admit, before this trip, I hadn’t really listened to their music. It was my friend who introduced me to them here. And somehow, this cafe felt like the perfect place for that first real listen. Sitting there, hearing their songs for the first time, felt right.

We took our time before ordering, trying to notice every little thing. Rishikesh already has this peaceful energy, and this cafe fits into it so naturally that it belongs there.
The food was simple and satisfying. Nothing fancy. Just good food, a warm cup of coffee, and music that makes you want to sit a little longer. Even after finishing my meal, I stayed. Just listening. Just being.

If you’re in Rishikesh and you love The Beatles, you’ll love this place. And even if you don’t know their music much, like I didn’t, a try not gonna hurt anybody. Just saying 🙂
Some places don’t just serve food.
They stay with you.
And 60’s Cafe is definitely one of them
