Descubriendo la belleza de Playa Sonrisa en Venezuela. ESP/ENG

Hola, amigo de esta linda comunidad, espero que estén teniendo un bonito día. Ayer fue un fin de semana muy bonito y les quiero compartir un poco sobre un lugar muy bonito que visité.

Hello, friends of this wonderful community! I hope you’re all having a great day. I had a wonderful weekend yesterday, and I’d like to tell you a little bit about a beautiful place I visited.

Aproveché mi último fin de semana en Venezuela, ya que el día martes me toca regresar a Cali, Colombia, donde vivo actualmente. Aunque pasé dos meses de vacaciones, fue increíble y tuve la oportunidad de conocer lugares muy bonitos, como lo es Playa Sonrisa.

I made the most of my last weekend in Venezuela, since I have to head back to Cali, Colombia—where I currently live—on Tuesday. Even though I was on vacation for two months, it was amazing, and I had the chance to visit some really beautiful places, like Playa Sonrisa.

El recorrido empezó a las 7 de la mañana. Fui con mis padres, mi hermano y mi sobrina. Nos dirigimos en carro particular desde la ciudad de San Felipe hasta Carabobo, donde está ubicada la playa en todo el centro de la ciudad. El viaje duró aproximadamente 1 hora y 40 minutos. Llegamos a eso de las 9 y estaba bastante llena, al punto de que tuvimos que dejar el carro en un parqueadero fuera de la playa.

The trip started at 7 a.m. I went with my parents, my brother, and my niece. We drove from the city of San Felipe to Carabobo, where the beach is located right in the heart of the city. The trip took about 1 hour and 40 minutes. We arrived around 9 a.m., and it was pretty crowded—so much so that we had to park the car in a lot outside the beach.

La playa Sonrisa es bastante limpia y tranquila; sus olas son muy bajas, lo que la hace bastante ideal para toda la familia.El lugar tiene una entrada gratuita abierta al público todos los días hasta las 6 de la tarde; la playa tiene servicios de lanchas para llevarte a islas cercanas, restaurante, estacionamiento y, además, vendedores frecuentes dentro de la playa.

Sonrisa Beach is quite clean and peaceful; its waves are very gentle, making it ideal for the whole family. Admission is free, and the beach is open to the public every day until 6 p.m.; it offers boat services to nearby islands, a restaurant, parking, and street vendors on the beach.

No había tenido la oportunidad de conocer esta playa tan bonita; además, el clima estaba perfecto para disfrutar el agua cristalina y hacer algunas fotos lindas. Pasamos el día muy chévere y comimos algunas cosas que habíamos comprado en el camino.

I hadn't had the chance to visit this beautiful beach before; plus, the weather was perfect for enjoying the crystal-clear water and taking some nice photos. We had a really great day and ate some snacks we'd bought along the way.

Cuando empezaba a caer la tarde, empezamos a recoger todo para regresarnos a casa. La tarde se colocó muy bonita y aproveché también para hacer algunas fotos. Estaba muy encantada con cada una que hacía. Sin duda alguna, viajar es una de las cosas más relajantes y que vale la pena hacer cada vez que se pueda. As evening began to fall, we started packing up to head home. The sunset was absolutely beautiful, so I took the opportunity to snap a few photos. I was thrilled with every single one I took.
