IMG_20260311_061755.jpg

Greetings everyone, for today's travel blog was all about bond with Nature. Since when I was a little girl, I really like to explore beautiful and relaxing place. Today, the place where I went was all about part of Naawan Areas but this river is also surpassed the other Municipalities of Manticao. This river travels and flows long way all the way from Barangay Balintad, And other mountainous places going down to plain Barangays and Zones in Manticao and last is the small portion of Naawan, Misamis Oriental. Like the images of the Zone and Other far flung barangays, it was also widen by previous flashfloods and landslides. Each side of the cliff continously collapsed leaving tons of rocks and find sands on the surface. Naawan, Misamis Oriental is contains curvy areas where river surpasses each cliffs growns with wild plants and trees helps to prevent collapsing and to have relaxing views and shady areas. This bodies of river makes very amazed because of two Municipalities connected and lots of streams also connected at the river.

Every summer season, lots of people went here to go for a swim and aside of that washing clothes is very perfect here. Lots of deep parts of the river can be seen and found perfect for a place for a swim. Not all parts of the river contains tons of rocks, fine ands and peebles aslo be seen here deposited because of the past flash flood. Most part of the place have big trees buried for many years and some of it are located at the middle of the river particularly at the Sand for many years already. Lots of crabs, fish and shrimps hide on rock holes and in the leaves submerged at the fresh water. Every Month of March, there are lots of small fish came from the sea swim by here to migrate and lived in some parts of the river.

This flat solid big stones are sumberged at the fresh water and one of the interesting stories about this is this big flat of rocks is also clothes washing areas. Few big rock holes and rock pools are at the river perfect for washing clothes. This big flat of silica stones connects at the slope site of the river and only small portion of soil ate on top of it. Because of many years and centuries submerged at the sea water, some surface of the rocks are already grown with hyacynths and moss.

This big chunks of rocks are at tge side of the cliffs, indicates that it was already destroyed and collapsed brought by big floods. Once there was a big trees grows here and now it was already washout reason why this big chunks of rocks shows at the surface. At the top of the cliff is the bamboo trees where the roots are clinging and sticking of the rocks and rock holes. Cliffs here are mostly made of solid rocks just like silica and some of it are already falled down to the river and submerged.

Lots of bamboo trees are also at the water creating a deep parts of the river. Farmers tied the rope of their Carabaos here for a bathed and local fishermen cast their nets here just to catch lots of shrimps and fish. There was once a shortcut road here but it was already isolated because of the tall cliffs developed because of the big floods.

This is one of the biggest stream located here in Naawan and it connects to the river. This "Y" form is between two streams connected together creating this tons of solid rocks, peebles and Sands. Rocks can be seen and found here are made of silica rocks. Every summer, this place ia very perfect to visit and relax ourselves. Until next post, have a safe and nice travel to everyone.
