A trip to the beach never hurts!!

This Sunday, even though the weather wasn't the best, I decided to take a trip to the seaside. I went to Sottomarina in the province of Venice, a beautiful seaside resort that probably not everyone knows about, at least not those who live outside Italy. But the municipality of which Sottomarina is part, Chioggia, is certainly more famous than this beautiful village, which is now famous throughout the world.

When I come to the seaside in winter, I usually come because there are fewer people, even if it's not always like this, but above all because it allows you to take a beautiful walk. I always go where there is this dam that was built several years ago to protect the beach area of ​​this tourist resort and I really like going there, sitting down and maybe even reading a good book in peace.

This is also an area where fishing is usually done, or at least once upon a time. There were many fishermen who pulled up the fish here, but for several years now there have been fewer and fewer videos, and probably in my opinion the profession of fisherman is no longer so profitable.

However, this is a truly beautiful place, although unfortunately in summer it is too hot and therefore I don't like it very much. As I was saying, I like coming to the seaside more than anything else in winter because then you can take a walk in peace and it is not so hot and I must say that in this period I don't know why but the sea water seems even more beautiful to me.

In fact it is also nice to see how this area is frequented, and now when we come in the morning there are also few people because in the afternoon it fills up quite a bit, even in summer because people come here to get a bit of fresh air because being so exposed in this area towards the sea there is a bit of air here.
