Mystery path of the cross🏔️🚩 / Sendero misterio de la cruz📍🧭 (En-Es)
Greetings fellow adventurers! Today we came to Arrábida to try and solve the mystery of the cross on "Mount Abraham." This is my second visit to the trail, and today I came with some friends, so overall I enjoyed it. There was some action, and the weather conditions were brutal with winds of over 90 kilometers per hour. So the trail has a little bit of everything—enjoy it!🌏📸
Saludos amigos aventureros!!! hoy venimos a la Arrabida para intentar resolver el misterio de la cruz del "Monte abraam" es mi segunda visita al sendero y hoy vine acompanado por unos amigos, asi que en general disfrute, hubo accion, las condiciones climatica fueron brutal con vientos de mas de 90kilometros, por tanto el sendero tiene de todo un poco disfrutalo!🚙🏕️

Having already hiked so many trails and knowing this area like the back of my hand, to say that this trail is "medium difficulty" is disrespectful to this beautiful stretch of road. In my personal opinion, it's one of the toughest in Arrabida. Here's the map, and you'll see that it's in the middle of nowhere.📸🧭
Con tantos senderos que ya realice y conociendo esta zona como "la palma de mi mano" decir que este sendero es "media dificultad" es una falta de respeto para este pedazo de trayecto hermoso, en mi opinion personal es de lo mas duros de la Arrabida, aqui te dejo el mapa y observaras que esta en medio de la nada.📸🏕️
I was tempted to create a YouTube video for my channel, but then I thought it was a bad idea, because there is only one route to get to Las Cruces without interfering with the ecosystem, and few of us know that area. I thought that if it went viral, it could overrun the area with tourists and create a problem with the Ministry of Environmental Protection. Therefore, we settled for something more private: my Hive blog.🙇🏻♀️🏔️
Me vi tentado en crear un video de youtube para mi canal pero luego pense que era mala idea, porque solo existe una ruta para ir a las cruces sin interferir con el ecosistema y pocos conocemos esa zona, pense que si se hacia viral podia invadir eso de turista y crear un problema con el ministerio de proteccion ambiental, por tanto nos conformamos con algo mas reservado mi blog de hive.🏞️🛺

The first 30 minutes of the hike are easy, starting on the main road and passing by the convent. It's worthwhile because you'll learn some culture here, as it's over 400 years old. Actually, where we're going has a connection to the convent, as it's a mountain dedicated to Christianity.🙇🏻♀️🏕️
Los primeros 30 minutos de la caminata son faciles, comienzan en la carretera nacional y pasas por el convento, y vale la pena porque aprenderas algo de cultura aqui, ya que esto tiene mas de 400 anos de ser fundado, en realidad hacia donde vamos tiene cierta conexion con el convento ya que es una montana dedicada al cristianismo🚙🧭

The mountain's highest point is 380 meters, which is exactly where we are going; it would be one of the highest points in the Setubal district, that is, the southern edge of Lisbon. Today the environmental conditions were difficult; we felt winds with gusts of more than 80km/h.🚩📍
El monte tiene como punto maximo 380 metros de altura, que es exactamente hacia donde vamos, seria uno de los puntos mas alto del distrito de Setubal, o sea el margen sul de Lisboa, hoy las condiciones ambientales eran dificiles sentimos vientos con rafagas de mas de 80km, 🙇🏻♀️🌏

Now the next step is approximately an hour inside the forest, the part of medium difficulty, because we have to bend down a lot to pass between the branches, here we still do not enter an environmentally sensitive area, but before we made a stop to have lunch, hydrate.
Ahora el siguiente paso es una hora aproximado dentro del bosque, la parte de dificultad media, porque tenemos que doblarnos mucho para ir pasando entre las ramas, aqui aun no entramos en area sensible ambiental, pero antes hicimos una parada para almorzar, hidratarnos.

The exposed section is one of the toughest parts of the hike because the path is full of gravel and slippery stones, plus we're leaving the forest; here there are bushes and lots of thorny shrubs. It's quite uncomfortable, but the views of the mountain are amazing!🏞️🏔️
El tramo expuesto es una de las partes mas duras de la caminata porque el camino esta lleno de grava y piedras resbaladizas, ademas que salimos del bosque, aqui hay arbustos y muchos arbustos espinozos, es bastante incomodo pero las vistas del monte son brutales!🏕️📸

Que recorrido tan interesante, me hiciste recordar con la historia de las cruces la historia de la cruz en el pueblo de mis padres y abuelos en España, Archena, Murcia. Allí en el monte Ope se le apareció una figura diabólica a un pastor y luego a un cura, así que los lugareños subieron una cruz al monte para protección, con el tiempo tuvo que ser sustituida porque la madera se pudrió. Excelente semana.
