Where Tradition meets Modern Charm & Stories by the Lake | Zurich, Switzerland

Greetings the fellow Wolrdmappers and Travellers!

Today im gonna share with you a gallery of little wallpapers, cuz i visited a living wallpaper, because everywhere you look its so modern and clean and still the architecture is very very condensed.

Firstly i will say this city is very huge and very hectic but also very calm in the same time, maybe it’s the charm of Switzerland itself, cuz the time has stopped there everything is so calm but still very rushy.

Anyway we got off a train station from Basel and the travel time wasn’t much it was around an hour-ish and the thing i immediately noticed is the people it’s a lot more people.

Compared to Basel Zurich actually feels like a tourist destination and yes it’s more beautiful and you can definitely feel the architectural history there more.

For the record i’m not gonna mention anything historical, cuz i don’t know anything historical about the city itself i’m just experiencing the city as a tourist and i could say that with all these little canals it feels like an upgraded version of Venice, well very very upgraded version of Venice and it’s kinda cold.

Anyway it’s time to bring the GTA thing and as you know i sometimes like to mention GTA in my posts, cuz some parts of the world feel exactly like the game and this is the most shocking thing i have experienced coming close to the game.

You know how in some of the games you have to collect a 100 packages or 100 letters to get a Trophy?

Well in GTA 4 you have to shoot the pigeons there referred as a flying rats and oh gosh take a look at this pigeon chilling in the most unusual spot of them all.

Anyway i will show you a little more Venice-ish photos of the city and we are gonna go to the next part.

Okay so we are reaching the lake soon and before that im gonna share with you maybe the center of the city. Well at least it looked like the big square that every city typically has, because this is the Opera of Zurich.

Anyway next to the Opera is this huge park and right next to it is the elephant in the room - Lake Zurich

Before we begin the view was so big i tried to do a panorama shot so for those who are using phones the photo looks better through the web version, cuz it’s a little bit bigger and you might see more details.

The lake is very chill, very big it feels like a sea and full of life, cuz it has all sorts of birds in it like ducks and Swans and other life i can’t even fathom take a sneak.

We are almost finished and here’s the part where i take a quick photoshoot of these swans and their beauty. Enjoy! ☺️

So this is where the park basically starts and the lake continues so we are gonna end our walk here and continue to exploring the park in the next post. Last week we explored the Chinese garden in the middle of it and i gotta tell you i got more feathered friends to show.
