“Here, even the wind whispers in slow motion.”

Greetings Photographers & Worldmappers!
Today i will share with you Switzerland’s most Photographed Mountain Hotel!
It might be a Hotel of old age cuz it also appears in the James Bond film - Goldfinger

Yeah it doesn’t look much, but being based in a location such as that exact one makes up for the whole experience. Not only it is at the edge of the alps, but also exactly by the turn part of the road, so wholesome.
If we are looking for the ” iconic” in the title of the Belvédère hotel it’s the surrounding and the views.

That road must be a part of the “iconic”, cuz looks so satisfying-ish proportional on setting and place such as this.
Oh it is called the Furka Pass and stands around 22km long and yeah filled with “zig-zag” turns.
The higher you go the brighter and quieter it gets and the views are getting more and more visually pleasing.

To be absolutely transparent i think this was one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever been and to be more on point this whole landscape is spread across two parts Andermatt which is the east side and The Valais region which is the west side.

The whole time i was taking shots i was thinking i was kinda working for Bill Gates, cuz i was basically taking a Windows Wallpapers shots.
I can definitely tell you that the silence above 2,300 meters has a lot of aura and you just don’t mind the cold.

I have more to show from the Alps, but the post not only would get more longer, but it will be harder to post more photos here, cuz i guess the site is crashing from such heavy photos.
Anyway Near Hotel Belvédère, there are two very cool engineering features that we are gonna explore in the next part - The Lift, The Dam and some Glaciers. See ya! 😄

Truly breathtaking photos! You've captured the magical silence that only the high mountains can offer. It almost feels like breathing in the fresh air while looking at these shots. Thanks for sharing!
