Day trip to Ba Na Hills to see the dazzling Golden Bridge

Ba Na Hills... the magical place in the mountains that can transport anyone, even those who are least moved by fantasy, magic, and science fiction.

For children? For all ages. This Vietnamese resort, located within SunWorld, has everything from adorable figures that will dazzle the little ones to bars, cabarets, breweries, and more.

Where is it located? In the mountains of Danang, about an hour from the city, and then you have to take the chairlift if you buy the tourist package, which takes about 15 minutes.

Excursión de un día a Ba Na Hills para ver el deslumbrante Puente Dorado

Ba Na Hills… el lugar mágico de la montaña que puede llegar a teletransportar a cualquiera, incluso a los que menos se conmueven con la fantasía, la magia y la ciencia ficción.

¿Para niños? Para todas las edades. Este complejo de Vietnam que se encuentra dentro de SunWorld, tiene desde figuras sumamente tiernas con las que los más peques se deslumbran, hasta bares, cabarets, cervecerías y más.

¿Dónde se encuentra? En las montañas de Danang, a una hora más o menos de la ciudad, y luego tenés que ascender por telesilla si comprás el pack turístico, lo que tarda alrededor de 15 minutos.

The Golden Bridge

This excursion is one of the most sought-after by visitors to Danang, as the Golden Bridge (Cau Vang in Vietnamese) has gone viral on social media, making travelers from all over the world's mouths water.

The enormous hands that emerge from the mountain to support the 120-meter-long golden walkway represent the hands of God. The structure is made of stone and is so imposing that people are left in a kind of trance as they take photos and contemplate it.

The speed of construction of this bridge is as impressive as the work itself: work began one year and a year later it was ready to open its doors to the public, with construction beginning in 2017 and ending in 2018.

El Puente Dorado

Esta excursión es una de las más buscadas por quienes visitan Danang, ya que el Puente Dorado (Cau Vang en vietnamita) se ha hecho básicamente viral en redes sociales, generando que la boca se le haga agua a cualquier viajero de cualquier parte del mundo.

Las enormes manos que salen por la montaña para sostener a la dorada pasarela de 120 metros de largo, representan a las manos de Dios. La estructura está hecha de piedra y es tan imponente, que la gente queda en una especie de trance mientras toma fotos y contempla.

La velocidad de construcción de este puente es tan impresionante como la misma obra: en un año se inició el trabajo y un año después ya estaba listo para abrir sus puertas al público, iniciándose de este modo, la construcción en 2017 para finalizar en 2018.

The truth is that influencers and communicators have fallen short. Although the bridge's structure is the most striking feature and undoubtedly the star attraction of the Ba Na Hills complex, there is much more to do on this tour.

The complex itself has spectacular gardens with flowers, figures made of vegetation, and a rather surreal landscape because it is among the clouds.

Also, in this part of the trip, there is a pagoda with a huge Buddha.

Lo cierto es que los influencers y comunicadores se han quedado cortos. Aunque la estructura del puente es la más llamativa y sin dudas es la protagonista del complejo Ba Na Hills, hay mucho más para hacer en este tour.

En sí mismo el complejo cuenta con jardines espectaculares que alternan flores, figuras hechas con vegetación y un paisaje bastante surrealista por estar entre las nubes.

Además en esta parte del viaje, hay una pagoda con un Buda enorme.

The French Village

The excursion includes a visit to an old French village, now known as the “French Village.”
Each structure has been remodeled to perfection, as if they came straight out of a Disney story.

You reach the French Village by taking another chairlift, and this is where you will have lunch. Incidentally, the price of €50 includes a buffet lunch featuring food from different parts of the world, as well as hotel pick-up and drop-off, tickets for all tours, and a guide. I consider this a very reasonable price. In addition, upon entering the complex and before the ascent, they give out tickets that can be exchanged for craft beer or food.

La Villa Francesa

La excursión incluye la visita a un viejo pueblo francés, hoy referenciado como la “French Village”.

Cada estructura se remodeló al punto de dejarlas impecables, como salidas de una historia de Disney.

Se llega a la French Village tomando otra telesilla y es en este sector en donde se almuerza. Por cierto, el precio de €50 incluye almuerzo buffet que cuenta con comida de diferentes lugares del mundo, además de incluir la recogida en el hotel, la dejada en el mismo, los tickets para todos los tours y la guía. Lo considero un precio bastante atinado. Además, al ingresar al complejo y antes del ascenso, regalan tickets que son canjeables por cerveza artesanal o comida.

At first, I hesitated to go, as I knew it would be crowded and it was raining, but it was one of those places that, if I looked back, I would regret not visiting, and honestly, I made the right decision to go, because it is unforgettable.

Al principio dudé en ir, ya que sabía que estaría repleto de gente y llovía, pero fue uno de esos lugares que si miraba hacia atrás, me arrepentiría de no haber visitado, y la verdad acerté por completo en ir, pues es inolvidable.

The part I liked the most had nothing to do with the main attractions, as I fell in love with an area far from the French village, high up and accessible by climbing several stairs, consisting of three beautiful pagodas distributed on the first, second, and third levels.

Due to the weather conditions, this area was particularly shrouded in clouds, and the scene it presented looked like something out of a movie. This place must be equally beautiful in the sunshine.

La parte que más me gustó a mi, no tiene nada que ver con los principales atractivos, pues quedé enamorada de un sector alejado del pueblo francés que está en las alturas y al cual se accede subiendo varias escaleras, que consiste en tres pagodas preciosas distribuidas en un primero, segundo y tercer nivel.

Por cómo estaba el día, esta zona estaba particularmente metida en una nube y la escena que presentaba parecía realmente de película. Ese sitio con sol, debe ser igualmente una belleza.
