Relaxing walk along the banks of the Manzanares River to the Guzmán Blanco Bridge (Eng - Esp)
Continuing my walk along the banks of the Manzanares River, I stopped at the second footbridge. This one features black lines, squares, and rectangles in blue, pink, and orange. Like the previous one, it stands out for its striking colors and patterns. Due to the dredging of the river, a wide channel is visible, offering a partial view of the walkway. Further along, several concrete benches face the avenue, surrounded by large trees. They are ideal for resting and admiring the beautiful Manzanares River.
Returning along the walkway, we see more large Ceiba trees, the river in the distance, and a view of the bridge behind it. A wide expanse of the Manzanares River and the land after the dredging is also visible. Following the path, two rock walls protect it and separate it from the river. On the other side, there is an area with some ornamental plants, and beyond them, the sidewalk. The bridge and the flow of the Manzanares River are visible again. In the background is an office of Guaiquerí Park, and then the front wall of the bridge facing Aristiguieta Avenue.
Continuando mi recorrido por la ribera del río Manzanares hice una parada en la segunda pasarela, esta tiene líneas de color negro, cuadrados y rectángulos de color azul, rosa y naranja, al igual que la anterior resalta por sus llamativos colores y patrones, por el dragado del río, se observa un amplio canal y una vista parcial de esta caminería, luego hay varios bancos de concreto hacia la avenida, rodeados de grandes árboles, son ideales para descansar y desde allí observar el hermoso río manzanares.
De vuelta la caminería vemos otros árboles grandes de Ceiba y al fondo el río y una vista del puente en la parte posterior y un área extensa del río manzanares y el terreno luego del dragado, siguiendo la ruta de la caminería hay dos muros de roca que la protegen y la separan separan al río, al otro lado hay un terreno con algunas plantas ornamentales y luego de ellas la acera, se observa nuevamente el puente y el caudal del río Manzanares, al fondo una oficina del parque Guaiquerí y luego el muro frontal del puente hacia la avenida Aristiguieta.
Here's one of the most beautiful views of the Manzanares River, and it was my favorite on this walk. You can see the river's course, several trees along its banks and reflected in the water, followed by a path lined with trees along the river and the walkway. Two of them caught my eye because of their unusual roots and trunks. They are Ceiba trees, and according to a kind gentleman, the thick roots and protrusions on the trunk and branches indicate the tree's age. Judging by the protrusions on the trunk, roots, and some branches, this one is quite old.
Next, we have a view of the rock walkway located beside the river. I was a little afraid to walk there, but with my friend, we saw that it was safe and walked about 100 meters. The view from this spot is beautiful, and you can appreciate the grassy vegetation along the riverbank. The spaces of Guaiquerí Park, as seen in the image, are covered by large trees, and among them are several buildings that correspond to park offices or wooden kiosks. I definitely enjoyed this walk along the banks of the Manzanares River because of the beautiful scenery, the abundant vegetation, and the fresh breeze.
A continuación una de las vistas más hermosas del río Manzanares y fue la que más me gustó en este paseo, se observa el trayecto del río, varios árboles alrededor y reflejados en el agua, seguidamente un sendero de árboles alrededor del río y la caminería, dos de ellos llamaron mi atención, por sus curiosas raíces y troncos, son Ceibas y de acuerdo a la información de un amable señor las raíces gruesas y protuberancias en el tronco y las ramas indican la antigüedad que tiene el árbol, de acuerdo a lo que se puede ver este tiene varios años, por las protuberancias en el tronco, raíces y en algunas ramas,
Siguiendo, tenemos una vista de la caminería de rocas ubicada al lado del río, tenía un poco de miedo de caminar por allí, pero en compañía de mi amiga vimos que era segura e hicimos un recorrido de aproximadamente 100 metros, la vista desde este espacio es bonita y se aprecia la vegetación gramínea ubicada al borde del río; los espacios del parque Guaiquerí tal como se observa en la imagen están están cubiertos por grandes árboles y entre ellos observan varias construcciones que corresponden a oficinas del parque o los kioscos de madera, definitivamente este paseo por la ribera del río manzanares me gustó mucho por los hermosos paisajes, la abundante vegetación y la fresca brisa.
After a charming and relaxing stroll along the riverbank, we arrived at the base of the Guzmán Blanco Bridge, where the stairs leading to Bermúdez Avenue and other parts of the city, such as the historic center, Plaza Miranda, and Ayacucho Park, are located. We saw the stairs on the bridge wall, and along the path, there were concrete benches. We also had a view of the bridge's pilings and the cleared, dredged areas. The last photograph shows the bridge's design, its foundations, and several people chatting on the walkway.
At the top, there are several LED lights and safety railings. After climbing the bridge, we stayed for several minutes, admiring the scenery and the view of the river from above. I must say they are incredible and enchanting. In fact, as you can see in the pictures, we joined the people who were stationed on the bridge, taking photographs and contemplating the beautiful river. Afterwards, we went to the shopping center to enjoy a delicious and creamy chicha. It was a lovely morning stroll enjoying the contact with nature and the beautiful landscapes of the Manzanares River. Without a doubt, this ecosystem offers enchanting areas for those who love to enjoy nature, the fresh breeze, and the charming trilling of the birds.
Luego de un encantador y relajante recorrido por la ribera del río llegamos a la base del puente Guzmán Blanco donde se ubican las escaleras para acceder hacia la avenida Bermúdez y otros sectores de la ciudad como el centro histórico, plaza Miranda, parque Ayacucho, entre otros, en el muro del puente observamos las escaleras, al igual que en el trayecto hay bancos de concreto y tenemos una vista de los pilotes del puente y sus espacios limpios y dragados, en la última fotografía se aprecia el diseño del puente, sus respectivas bases y varias personas conversando en esta pasarela.
En la parte superior se encuentran varios bombillos LED y las barandas de seguridad, luego de subir el puente, nos quedamos arriba varios minutos observando el paisaje y la vista del río desde lo alto; debo decir que son increíbles y encantadoras, de hecho, tal como se se aprecia en las imágenes nos unimos a las personas estaban apostadas en el puente, tomando fotografía y contemplando el hermoso río, seguidamente nos dirigimos al centro comercial para disfrutar una deliciosa y cremosa chicha, fue un lindo paseo matutino disfrutando el contacto con la naturaleza y los hermosos paisajes el río Manzanares, sin duda alguna este ecosistema ofrece áreas encantadoras para quienes aman disfrutar de la naturaleza, la fresca brisa y el encantador trinar de los pájaros.
