Evening walk along the Cumaná boulevard (Eng- Esp)
Hello friends, it's a pleasure to share my latest tour of Cumaná, the capital city of Sucre state and birthplace of Grand Marshal Antonio José de Sucre. This time, my visit took me to the Cumaná Boulevard, located on the Cacique Maraguey perimeter avenue, a few meters from the Marina Plaza shopping center and behind the Hernán Marín Amphitheater. Several walkways from the amphitheater lead to this area. If you're in the lower section or near the beach soccer fields, you can also access this beautiful boulevard. The path runs along the beach next to the back walls of the amphitheater. The boulevard features rock and concrete walkways, as well as a beautiful white heart-shaped swing with a wooden bench in the center, suspended by chains from the top of the heart.
The swing faces the beach, and at night, the LED lights give it an elegant and romantic look. From the rock walkways, you can see the upper part of the amphitheater, the walkways, the posts, the gardens, the trash cans, and then there's the beautiful heart-shaped swing, located facing the beach. In the afternoon, it's the perfect place to relax or chat by the sea.
After my stroll along this beautiful boulevard and admiring the amphitheater walkways, I headed to the upper part of the boulevard in the rocky area. From this point, you can again appreciate the planters and structures of the amphitheater, such as the walkways, the mural of Venezuela, the boat, and a series of paths that lead to the beach 🏖️
You can also see the beach soccer field and some buildings along this avenue, which is quite long and covers several prominent locations in the city. Like the Amphitheater, the Guardians of the Gulf, the Monk and the Indian Monument, the Cumaná 500 Years Monument, and the Malecón Cinta Costera, as well as the well-known cocktail kiosks, this connects to Carúpano Avenue in the Caigüire sector, which provides access to the national highway towards the Paria Peninsula.
Hola amigos es un placer compartir mi nuevo recorrido por la ciudad capital del estado Sucre y cuna del Gran Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre (Cumaná), en esta oportunidad mi visita se realizó en el Bulevar Cumaná, este se encuentra ubicado en la avenida perimetral Cacique Maraguey, a pocos metros del centro comercial Marina plaza y en la parte posterior del anfiteatro Hernán Marín, tomando las caminerías del anfiteatro hay varias que conducen hacia esta zona, si te encuentras en la parte baja o las canchas de fútbol playa, también tienes acceso a este hermoso Bulevar, la vía es por la orilla de la playa al lado de los muros posteriores del anfiteatro, el bulevar cuenta con caminerías de rocas y concreto, además un hermoso columpio blanco en forma de corazón, con un banco de madera en el centro, sostenido por cadenas desde la parte superior del corazón.
El columpio se encuentra al frente de la playa y en la noche se aprecian las luces LED, que le dan un estilo elegante y romántico; desde las caminerías de roca, se observa la parte alta del anfiteatro, pasillos, los postes, jardines, las papeleras y luego tenemos el hermoso columpio en forma de corazón, ubicado frente a la playa, en horas de la tarde es el lugar perfecto para relajarse o platicar a la orilla del mar.
Luego de mi recorrido por este hermoso bulevar y observar los caminos del anfiteatro, me dirigí hacia la parte alta del bulevar en el área de las rocas, desde este punto se aprecian nuevamente las jardineras y estructuras del anfiteatro como son las caminerías, el mural de Venezuela, el bote y una serie de caminos que conducen hacia la playa 🏖️
Se observa también la cancha de fútbol playa y algunos edificios de esta avenida, la cual es extensa y cubre varios lugares destacados de la ciudad; como el Anfiteatro, los guardianes del Golfo, monumento del Monje y el Indio, el Monumento Cumaná 500 años y el Malecón Cinta Costera, también los conocidos kioscos de los coctelitos, esta se une a la avenida Carúpano en el sector Caigüire que da acceso a la carretera nacional hacia la península de Paria
From the beautiful heart-shaped swing, you can see the mostly circular planters, the trash cans, and the various walkways leading to the amphitheater and its surrounding areas, the boulevard, and another swing located next to the amphitheater. The photograph shows the shape of these walkways; they are made of concrete with rocks, and most of them lead to the back of the amphitheater, where the beach is located.
The gardens feature ornamental plants with pink and yellow flowers. The grass, which covers much of the ground, is patchy and appears rectangular and square. From this vantage point, you can also enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the beach and the perimeter avenue, as well as the beach soccer field and the walls that separate the amphitheater from the boulevard. In the afternoon, the view is particularly lovely, and what I enjoyed most was the cool breeze during my visit. I was able to fully appreciate this walk, taking in the surroundings with the sea breeze.
Desde el hermoso columpio con forma de corazón, se observan las jardineras que en su mayoría son circulares, las papeleras y los diferentes pasillos que conducen al anfiteatro y sus espacios, al bulevar y a un columpio ubicado al lado del anfiteatro, en la fotografía se aprecia la forma que tienen estos pasillos, son de concreto con rocas y la mayoría de ellos se dirigen hacia la zona posterior del anfiteatro, donde se encuentra ubicada la playa.
Los jardines tienen plantas ornamentales con flores de color rosa amarillo, la grama que cubre gran parte del terreno está fragmentada y se observan con forma rectangular y cuadrada, también desde este punto se puede ver una hermosa panorámica de la playa y la avenida perimetral, también la cancha de fútbol playa y los muros que separan el anfiteatro del bulevar; en horas de la tarde la vista es muy bonita y lo que más me gustó fue la fresca brisa que había a la hora de mi visita, pude disfrutar esta caminata al máximo observando el entorno con la brisa marina.
Next to the wall is a beautiful butterfly-shaped swing set. This area has restrooms, water filters, benches in front, and attractive rectangular gardens. You can access it through the amphitheater walkways or enter directly from the boulevard. The restrooms and filters are located in a rectangular structure with a blue roof, very close to the beach. Next to the butterfly swing set is a black one with a wide bench and a backrest. To enjoy this beautiful swing, we had to wait over an hour; there were families and children already on it. When it was free, my son and I took the opportunity to swing and admire the incredible view of the avenue and the sunset. At night, the butterfly turns on its lights, but since I was busy swinging, I forgot to take pictures of its vibrant colors. I only managed to admire the beautiful lights that add brilliance and elegance to this large metal butterfly.
In front of the swing set is a small theater with concrete benches, and next to it is the beach soccer field, which was inaugurated a few months ago. Its spaces are ideal for this sport that brings together many families. On the day of our visit, a match was about to be played, and they were clearing the areas so that the teams would have free access to the field and also to provide a space where their families and guests could watch the game. While these people were organizing the game, we continued swinging until late in the evening, when we decided to get off and watch the game. We only watched the first half, and I was impressed that this game doesn't last the 45 minutes that traditional soccer requires. After the first half, we went to another area to see the new structures located next to the beach soccer field. The shoreline looks very beautiful and perfect for an afternoon walk to help recharge energy and relieve stress. This part of the city is one of my favorites because of its easily accessible location and the beautiful scenery it offers. In addition, along the coast there are different places where the The whole family can relax and have fun; both adults and children have an area where fun is guaranteed.
After exploring the new areas of the boulevard, we headed back to the swing set, taking advantage of the fact that it was empty. We stayed for about half an hour, and then, as it was getting late, we started back home. It was a lovely adventure visiting the boulevard and its surroundings. We also had the opportunity to swing on both swings, the heart-shaped one and the butterfly one. To be honest, both are beautiful, but I liked the heart-shaped one better because of its location. Being close to the beach, you can enjoy the breeze and the ocean view, and being a little further from the avenue and walkways, it has more privacy. The boulevard is a pleasant space with incredible views and areas to enjoy games, cycling, walking, exercising, and more.
Al lado del muro, se ubica un hermoso columpio con forma de mariposa, este espacio cuenta con baños, filtros de agua, bancos al frente y llamativos jardines rectangulares, para acceder se pueden tomar los pasillos del anfiteatro o entrar directamente por el bulevar, los baños y filtros se ubican en una estructura rectangular con el techo azul, esta se encuentra muy cerca de la playa, a continuación columpio con forma de mariposa, es de color negro, el banco es amplio tiene espaldar y para poder disfrutar de este hermoso columpio tuvimos que esperar más de una hora, habían familia y niños en él, cuando estuvo libre, mi hijo y yo aprovechamos para columpiarnos y observar desde este lugar la increíble vista de la avenida y el atardecer; en horas de la noche la mariposa enciende sus luces, pero al estar ocupada columpiándome olvidé tomar fotos de sus vibrantes colores, solo pude observar las hermosas luces que agregan brillo y elegancia a esta gran mariposa hecha con metal.
Al frente del columpio se ubica un pequeño teatro con bancos de concreto y seguidamente está la cancha de fútbol playa, que fue inaugurada hace pocos meses, sus espacios son ideales para este deporte que congrega a muchas familias, el día de nuestra visita se iba a disputar un partido y estaban despejando las áreas para que los equipos tuviesen libre acceso a la cancha y además brindar un espacio donde sus familiares e invitados pudiesen observar el desarrollo del juego, mientras estas personas organizaban el juego seguimos columpiándonos hasta entrada la noche, que decidimos bajar y ver el juego, solo observamos el primer tiempo y me impresionó que este juego no dura los 45 minutos que requiere el fútbol tradicional, terminado el primer tiempo nos dirigimos hacia otra zona para ver las nuevas estructuras ubicadas al lado de la cancha de fútbol playa, la orilla de la playa se ve muy bonita y perfecta para hacer una caminata en hora de la tarde que ayude a recargar energía y liberar estrés, esta parte de la ciudad es una de mis favoritas por su ubicación de fácil acceso y los hermosos paisajes que ella ofrece, además a lo largo de la costa se encuentran ubicados diferentes espacios donde la familia puede relajarse y divertirse tanto grandes y pequeños tienen un área donde la diversión está garantizada.
Luego de conocer los nuevos espacios del bulevar, nos dirigimos nuevamente al columpio aprovechando que estaba vacío, estuvimos aproximadamente media hora y luego por lo avanzado de la noche, tomamos el camino de vuelta a casa, fue una linda aventura visitar el bulevar y sus inmediaciones, además tuvimos la oportunidad de columpiarnos en los dos columpios, el de corazón y el de mariposa, siendo honesta ambos son hermosos pero me gustó más el de corazón por su ubicación, al estar cerca de la playa se disfruta la brisa, la vista del mar y al estar un poco alejado de la avenida y pasillos tiene más privacidad, el bulevar es un espacio agradable con increíbles vistas y áreas disfrutar los juegos, correr bicicleta, caminar, ejercitarse, entre otras.
