An evening stroll along the beach, watching the boats rocked by the waves (Eng - Esp)
Hello, hello, fellow travelers! It’s a pleasure to greet you. I hope you are all in good health, and that this new month brings an abundance of blessings, love, joy, and prosperity to every home. Today marks the beginning of November, which means we are getting closer to Christmas—my favorite time of year! In this post, I’m sharing my visit to the beach, where I followed the trail of the local boats. The coastline of Sucre State is known for its fishing activity; it’s common to see boats all along the shore, used both for fishing trips and for transporting the catch.
While walking along San Luis Beach, I passed by the familiar rock-and-concrete benches situated along a long path that stretches for several kilometers. These benches are convenient for setting down your beach gear, and they are also perfect for resting while taking in the beautiful seascape—which, in this part of the city, is truly stunning. At sunset, in particular, the sky fills with gorgeous colors, and the sun’s reflection on the water creates a lovely golden path. In addition to the benches, this area features several Homero plants, from which you can also enjoy incredible views of the sea.

Hoy comienza noviembre, lo que significa que nos acercamos a la Navidad, ¡mi época favorita del año! En esta publicación, comparto mi visita a la playa, donde seguí el rastro de las embarcaciones locales. El litoral del estado Sucre es conocido por su actividad pesquera; es habitual ver botes a lo largo de toda la costa, utilizados tanto para las faenas de pesca como para el transporte del pescado.
Mientras caminaba por la playa de San Luis, pasé junto a los conocidos bancos de piedra y hormigón situados a lo largo de un extenso sendero que recorre varios kilómetros. Estos bancos resultan muy prácticos para dejar el equipo de playa y, además, son perfectos para descansar mientras se contempla el hermoso paisaje marino, que en esta zona de la ciudad es realmente impresionante. Al atardecer, en particular, el cielo se llena de colores maravillosos y el reflejo del sol sobre el agua crea un encantador sendero dorado. Junto a los bancos, en esta área también hay varios ejemplares de Uvero, desde los cuales se puede disfrutar, asimismo, de unas vistas increíbles del mar.
Upon seeing the boats on the shore, I paused and walked closer to take some photographs. I have always enjoyed seascapes featuring boats; their colorful stripes contrast with the surroundings, creating a beautiful scene. As sunset approached, the colors in the sky cast a lovely effect upon the boats. Beyond their primary use for transporting fish, these vessels also offer trips along the coast. The excursion is an enjoyable experience, providing the opportunity to observe the Araya Peninsula up close, as well as various marine creatures such as lobsters, crabs, and more.
I waited until dusk to take more photographs of the boats in the distance, capturing their contrast against the colors the sky takes on during sunset. There were several children playing near the boats, while a family prepared for one last excursion across the warm, inviting waters of the Caribbean Sea that lap against the Cuban coast. Visiting the beach is always a lovely, relaxing experience that I enjoy to the fullest; I love to walk, take in the scenery, and enjoy the cool breeze as evening sets in. After photographing the colorful boats, I sat on a bench to watch the sunset in detail, observing how the sky filled with various shades of gold and red. Sunset is truly a beautiful spectacle—one I love to witness—and the beach offers one of the most stunning views of it.
Al ver las embarcaciones en la orilla, me detuve y me acerqué para tomar algunas fotografías. Siempre me han gustado los paisajes marinos que incluyen barcos; sus franjas coloridas contrastan con el entorno, creando una estampa hermosa. A medida que se acercaba el atardecer, los colores del cielo proyectaban un efecto encantador sobre las embarcaciones. Más allá de su función principal el transporte de pescado, estas naves también ofrecen recorridos a lo largo de la costa. La excursión resulta una experiencia muy agradable, pues brinda la oportunidad de observar de cerca la península de Araya, así como diversas criaturas marinas, tales como langostas, cangrejos y otras especies.
Esperé hasta el atardecer para tomar más fotografías de los barcos a lo lejos, captando su contraste frente a los colores que adquiere el cielo durante la puesta de sol. Había varios niños jugando cerca de las embarcaciones, mientras una familia se preparaba para una última excursión por las cálidas y acogedoras aguas del mar Caribe que bañan la costa cubana. Visitar la playa es siempre una experiencia encantadora y relajante que disfruto al máximo; me encanta caminar, contemplar el paisaje y gozar de la brisa fresca al caer la tarde. Tras fotografiar los coloridos barcos, me senté en un banco para observar el atardecer con detenimiento, viendo cómo el cielo se llenaba de diversos tonos dorados y rojizos. La puesta de sol es, sin duda, un espectáculo maravilloso, que me encanta presenciar, y la playa ofrece una de las vistas más impresionantes de este fenómeno.
