I don't know how easy it is to live there, and it is often different with many large cities, but it is excellent for a visit.
I grew up there and have lived in Chelsea since then.
Housing is very costly, and there are lots of challengs, of course, but still one of the most amazing places. I still work in London, and I've just organised half-time accommodation from September.
I never commented on your post about South West England, but that was a fascinating read. In earlier times, I studied biology and that was one of the areas we went for a field trip.
