Yaowarat, Bangkok - Thailand

There's so much to do in Bangkok, Thailand, and so much entertainment to offer. Even before I take this photo, a year ago, this place is just ordinary, but for some reason, it becoming special.

If you know anything about K-Pop, of course.. you know about Blackpink, right?. One of the Blackpink members is Lisa. She's special because she's from Thailand. Lisa incredibly famous and a source of pride for the Thai people because of her professionalism as a singer, dancer, and rapper of the world. Her name has spread like a virus, quickly become known to many people.

Last year, she release a single album is "Rockstar." The music video so popular that it garnered a lot of views on YouTube. It turns out that behind that music video, she rent this space and spent a lot of money. The area she use was a lively area 24/7. Can you imagine how that area generates income?

Yaowarat is a district that many people talk about. But now, i just visit it during my vacation to Bangkok last month. This district is really crowded, in the afternoons starting at 5:00am to 05.00am. Almost all the food stalls are open, as the area really comes alive at night.

During the day, there's a small area that serve as Bangkok's Chinatown. It's also a major shopping area in the city, attracting not only locals but also world wide visitor.

As I know, getting to Yaowarat is not difficult if you're stay at a hotel near the MRT. The Yaowarat MRT is accessible via the blue line, although it actually takes about an hour by MRT from other shopping centers like Pratunam.

As you can see, I even took photos here overlooking the crowds, like LISA. It was truly a memorable experience, even with hungry stomachs, as we were also looking for restaurants nearby.

If you love Chinese food, this area is definitely worth a visit. It's definitely worth it.
