It is a very beautiful mosque. I have often seen that the domes of mosques are covered with smooth and slippery materials, designed in a way that protects them from rain and other weather conditions.
But the architecture of this mosque is quite different. Instead of being smooth and slippery, its dome has a rough texture and the upper part appears to be made with beautiful handmade craftsmanship.
It looks absolutely beautiful. And you certainly have a skilled hand when it comes to photography 👍 Amazing photography

I quite appreciate your kind and encouraging words. The Great Mosque indeed is quite beautiful and it stands in such a great place, while having a history specific to this naval port at the Black Sea. It's quite thrilling to explore such old monuments and learn about them.
